Players are now continuing play down to the final table where they will stop until tomorrow at 1 p.m.

What a Chop

Nível 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The action started with Matt Berkey opening to 50,000 from the hijack, as the table folded around to Seth Berger on the big blind. He raised it up to 156,000, as Berkey thought about his decision. He then opted to bump it up once more, making it 272,000. Berger asked for a count, before bringing his bet back in, and sliding out yet another raise, this time totalling 531,000. Berkey sat motionless for almost a minute, before he announced all in, and was snap called.

Berkey: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Berger: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Two of the biggest stacks in the room committed all their chip in pre-flop, but they were heading for a chop, as the board ran out {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

Matt Berkey limped in from the button, before Philipp Gruissem moved all in for his last 275,000 from the small blind. Matt Perrins was in the big blind, and quickly moved all in over the top, forcing Berkey out of the hand.

Perrins: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Gruissem: {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} to see Perrins flop top pair to extend his lead, eliminating Gruissem one short of the unofficial final table.

Perrins Takes the Lead

Nível 25 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The action folded around to Matt Perrins in the small blind, who limped in, as Arthur Pro checked his option from the big blind. The flop came down {6-Spades}{9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, as Perrins checked his option. Pro bet out 75,000 and was called, before the {q-Clubs} fell on the turn. Perrins checked over to Pro once more, who didn’t stop his aggression, quickly reaching for chips, and betting out 150,000. Perrins called, and then checked for the third time, when the {9-Diamonds} completed the board. Pro bet out 215,000, and was called, after a short tank from Perrins.

Pro mucked his hand, as Perrins tabled his {6-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for two-pair, which was enough to take down the pot.

“Nice catch on the turn,” said Pro, following the hand.

In the final hand of the day, Antonio Buonanno limped in from the small blind, as Matt Schulte checked his option from the big blind. The flop came down {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, as Buonanno placed out a bet of 35,000 which was called. The {5-Hearts} fell on the turn, and Buonanno put out another bet of 75,000, before Schulte moved all in over the top, for not much more. The bet was called, as both players tabled their cards.

Buonanno: {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Schulte: {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Schulte was at rick, committing the remainder of his stack in with a pair of tens, but running into Buonanno’s turned two-pair. He wouldn’t find a ten on the river that he needed, as the {7-Spades} completed the board, sending him home in 10th place.
