Mike Matusow: {a-}{2-} / {2-}{k-}{k-}{9-} {x-}
Mike Gorodinsky: {4-}{7-} / {5-}{a-}{3-}{3-} / {8-}

A short-stacked Mike Matusow, who won his fourth bracelet earlier this series, completed all in for 3,300 only to have Mike Gorodinsky, who also won a bracelet this year, raise to 8,300. That drove out the rest of the players and the cards were turned up.

"I'm drawing completely dead," Matusow said aloud after fifth street was put out. Indeed he was. Sixth and seventh were run out for good measure as Matusow said goodbye and exited the tournament area.

Meanwhile, we also noticed that Daniel Negreanu is no longer with us, though his elimination came back in Level 9.

Daniel NegreanuLost all my chips to Brian Rast in two NLH pots. Needed to fade an Ace Ten or diamond with one to come. Ace on river I'm toast.

Last Break of the Night

Nível 9

Level 9 is in the books, and that means it's time for the last 20-minute break of the night. When the players return, they'll play one more level before bagging and tagging for the night.

Here's a look at what you may have missed from Level 9:

Hellmuth Out

Nível 9
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Down to a short stack, Phil Hellmuth found himself with less than 4,000 in an Omaha-8 hand against Michael Glick by the time the {6-}{9-}{9-} flop arrived and the last of his chips went in the middle.

Hellmuth held {A-}{K-}{3-}{3-} and Glick {10-}{5-}{4-}{2-}. The turn then brought a {4-} to improve Glick to the best high hand, and when the river blanked for Hellmuth he hit the rail just before the end of Level 9.
