Baumstein Makes Correct Call

Nível 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

We caught up with the action to see a board that read {J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. Scott Baumstein checked on over to his opponent who moved all in for his last 2,175. Baumstein's opponent then took off his watch and thew it in the middle as well, which was met with a laugh.

Baumstein tanked for quite some time pondering his action before finally dropping in a call. He showed {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and was well ahead of his opponent's open-ended straight draw with {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}.

The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Baumstein was able to score the knockout, boosting his stack up to around 7,200.

Frankenberger Has Heart(s)

Nível 2 : 25/50, 0 ante

The board read {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs} when we found two-time WSOP bracelet winner Andy Frankenberger heads up in a hand.

Frankenberger bet 125 only to have his opponent on the button raise it to 300. Frankeberger came right back over the top with a three-bet to 825. His opponent wasted little time four-betting the action to 1,900 which put Frankenberger into the tank. After about thirty seconds, Frankeberger five-bet to 3,725 which left him with only 1,200 behind.

It was now his opponent's turn to tank. Roughly sixty seconds rolled off of the clock before Frankeberger's opponent flat called. The {K-Clubs} hit the river and Frankenberger moved his last 1,200 into the middle. His opponent called but mucked when Frankeberger showed {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a king-high flush.

The two-time bracelet winner is now sitting on about 10,000 in chips.
