Schneider Flushes Opponent

Nível 1 : 50/100, 75 ante

The action was caught with all three players checking on fifth street. On sixth, Player 2 bet and was called by Tom Schneider and the other player in the hand, before another bet on seventh, saw Schneider raise, only finding a call from the original better.

Schneider: {k-Clubs}{7-Spades} / {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} / {5-Clubs}
Player 1: {x-}{x-} / {3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{A-Clubs} / {x-}
Player 2: {x-}{x-} / {K-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{5-Hearts} / {x-}

Schneider turned over his down cards, and exposed clubs for a flush, as his opponent shook his head, mucking his cards.

Ivey Chops

Nível 1 : 50/100, 75 ante

Phil Ivey completed to 50 only to be two-bet to 100. The bring-in called, as did Ivey before all three players committed 50 on fourth street. Ivey took the lead on fifth - and every subsequent street - with each player calling down to seventh with their boards reading as follows.

Bring-In: {X-}{X-} / {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} / {X-}
Ivey: {X-}{X-} / {5-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} / {X-}
Opponent: {X-}{X-} / {4-Spades}{A-Hearts}{10-Spades}{K-Spades} / {X-}

On seventh, Ivey bet, one opponent folded and the bring-in called tabling his {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a pair and a 7-6 low while Ivey's {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} saw him pick up the high with a pair of aces and a second-best 8-7 low.

Schulman Takes on Kelly

Nível 1 : 50/100, 75 ante

Barry Shulman: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Dan Kelly: {x-}{x-} / {7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Seat 1: {x-}{x-} / {8-Hearts}{A-Spades}

Dan Kelly brought in, Seat 1 called, but Barry Shulman raised. Both Kelly and Seat 1 called and the dealer dealt fourth street.

Shulman bet, Kelly called and Seat 1 folded. Shulman continued his aggression by betting fifth street and it was enough to win the pot because Kelly tossed his cards into the muck.

Luske Gives up the Hand

Nível 1 : 50/100, 75 ante

Marcel Luske seems a little frustrated, after a mishap over in the purple section.

Player 1: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Luske: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Player 2: {x-}{x-} / {6-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Player 3: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The hand started with player 1 bringing in, and getting called by three players, including Marcel Luske. On fourth street, Luske bet after player 1 checked, and was only called by player 3. The dealer scooped in the cards of the players who had folded, and accidentally collected one of player 3’s tabled cards. She then proceeded to look through the cards, exposing several mucked cards in the process. Once found, play resumed as fifth street was dealt out, and after a bet from player 3, Luske mucked his hand.

“I’m done with this hand,” said Luske. “It was over when the dealer mixed up the cards.”

Matusow Needles Friedman

Nível 1 : 50/100, 75 ante

Adam Friedman, the winner of this event in 2012, was just put in his place by Mike “The Mouth” Matusow.

Friedman is sat at a table adjacent to Matusow and he turned to face him and was talking about how he had been drawn on the same table as a double winner of this event, to which Matusow replied.

“It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve won. You’re a one-time winner and you can’t f**ing play, either!”

We hope this is the first of many classic Matusow moments, although we’d prefer them not to be as X-rated!

Rolled Up for Lauria

Nível 1 : 50/100, 75 ante

Catching the action on fourth we found Bob Lauria raising his opponent before taking the lead on every street thereafter - including betting seventh dark.

Lauria: {X-}{X-} / {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} / {X-}
Opponent: {X-}{X-} / {7-Spades}{A-Spades}{J-Spades}{Q-Hearts} / {X-}

Lauria's opponent called on seventh, but then swiftly mucked after seeing the local's {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} / {10-Spades} for a full house.

Early Chop for Bjorin

Nível 1 : 50/100, 75 ante

Swedish pro Chris Bjorin has just chopped his first pot of the day with the lady currently seated in Seat 2.

Chris Bjorin: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} / {J-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} / {x-}
Seat 2: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} / {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Spades} / {2-Clubs}

Seat 1 brought in, Seat 2 called and Bjorin raised. Only Seat 2 called. The lady in Seat 2 bet fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh street only to see Bjorin call her down.

Bjorin won the hi with his two pair, Seat 2 winning the low half.

"I started with kings, but picked up a straight," explained the Lady. "Didn't you believe I had the straight?"

We guess Bjoring did not.
