Sylvia Bluffs Off His Stack to Vandersmissen

On a board of Kevin Vandersmissen checked to Jesse Sylvia with a decent amount of chips already in the pot.

Sylvia moved all in for 30,000 even which put Vandersmissen into the tank. After about two minutes of thought Vandersmissen eventually decided to call.

Sylvia tabled for a busted straight draw with queen high. Vandersmissen turned over for top pair and that was good enough to send Sylvia to the rail. Sylvia was still able to pick up a min cash today for besting his shootout table yesterday.

Reddy Does Not Want a Nine or Four

Rodney Brown and Sumanth Reddy were involved in a big pot. The flop read out when Reddy put out a large bet. Brown re-raised 32,900 more which was all in for him. Reddy struggled but eventually made the call. Reddy was surprised his was ahead of Brown's . If Reddy could dodge the straight outs to chop or another seven, he could take a commanding chip lead going three handed.

The turn however was good news to Brown as it brought the . The meaningless river of meant that both players had the straight.

Reddy joked, "I thought I was behind. I was hoping for a nine or four." Little did he know that was the last thing he wanted besides a seven. The players took their money back with Brown taking his 60,000 back and Reddy took back his 155,000.

Vandersmissen Shoves Into Quads

From under the gun + 1, Aaron Jones opened the pot to 3,300. Steve Hohn called from middle position. Action folded to Kevin Vandersmissen who raised to 10,600 from the small blind. Jones folded but Hohn called.

The flop came down and Vandersmissen led out 12,100. Kohn just called.

The turn came the and Vandersmissen bet out again, this time for 13,500. Kohn called again.

On the river Vandersmissen thought for a bit then eventually shoved all in with a covering stack on Kohn. Kohn snap called and tabled for quads, and Vandersmissen was forced to ship over the chips, leaving himself with a very short stack.

Watson Dominates Peters

Action got crazy at Table 436 when David Peters raised 3,300. Two people called and then action fell on Mike Watson who bumped up the action to make it 10,000 more to go. Peters took some time and then pushed all in. The two players fold but Watson calls.

Vandersmissen Doubles Back Through Lykov

Not long ago Kavin Vandersmissen what short stacked after shoving into the quads of Steve Hohn, but since then Vandersmissen has doubled twice to get back over his starting stack. We missed the first double, but on the second Vandersmissen shoved over a raise from Maxim Lykov. Lykov made the call and he was in deep trouble when the hands where turned up.
