Aguiar's Shove Gets Through

Nível 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Jonathan Aguiar is armed with just 2,900 chips, but i in a better position than he was a few minutes ago when he open-shoved from the cutoff for 2,475.

Aguiar, who is being massaged by the lovely Liza Lim, said, "just don't call me with something like jack-high!" to the player in the big blind, who then gave some speech play — including a line about not liking anything from Boston, before folding.

Aguiar survives.

Some Stray Counts

Nível 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

We caught these players as we scouted around the vast Brasilia Room looking for hands of interest.

Chino Rheem's On The Rise

Nível 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Chino Rheem is up to 28,500 chips, thanks in part to helping himself to the chips of a short-stack only a few moments ago.

Rheem opened to 600 from the hijack and instantly called when the big blind moved all in for just under 7,000. The big blind had a legitimate hand in {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}, but was crushed by Rheem's superior {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

The {6-Spades}{K-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} board kept Rheem's hand best, and sent the big blind to the rail.

Racener Doubles

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

The small blind raised it up after everyone had folded to him. John Racener, in the big blind, made it 1,350 to go. The small blind made the call and checked to Racener on {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. The 2010 WSOP Main Event runner up (good for $5,545,955) bet 1,200 and called when the small blind instantly went all in.

Racener tabled {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} and had to fade clubs, aces and runner runner combinations since his neighbor turned over {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Racener succeeded in that mission with the {9-Hearts} on the turn and {9-Diamonds} on the river. Racener got his 9,725 stack times twice from the dealer after some counting.

Elpayaa Doubles

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

After a raise to 600 from the player under-the-gun, and a call from the player under-the-gun plus one, Joe Elpayaa shoved all in under-the-gun plus two for 4,375. The action folded quickly back to the initial-raiser who just as easy folded his cards. The first caller immediately called though and tabled his {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} proudly. Elpayaa wasn't in bad shape however, as he could turn over {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

The flop was harmless for Elpayaa: {J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}. The {4-Clubs} on the turn gave him a set but his opponent had four clear outs to hand out a bad beat. The {9-Spades} wasn't one of those cards though and Elpayaa doubled up.
