Healey Takes First Bite Out Of Koon, Ausmus Leading Johnson

Nível 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Preflop Jason Koon opened to 10,000 from the button. From the big blind Dan Healey reraised to 25,000. Koon just called.

On the {4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} flop, Healey led out for 20,000. Koon called.

The turn was the {K-Spades} and both players checked.

The {j-Clubs} came on the river and Healey led again, this time for 50,000. Koon called quickly. Healey showed {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for trip kings, and Koon mucked, allowing Healey to take the first big pot of the match.

At the next table over, Jeremy Ausmus had a bet of 75,000 in front of him on a board reading {3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-}{q-Hearts} . Johnson thought it over for a bit, then eventually folded. Ausmus has started to create a noticeable lead between the two in that heads-up match.

Steinberg Snags Two

Nível 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Max Steinberg raised to 8,000 on the button, and Brandon Cantu defended. The dealer fanned {4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, Cantu checked, and Steinberg flipped forward another 8,000. Cantu check-raised to 24,000, Steinberg called, and both players checked on the turn ({6-Diamonds}) and the river ({5-Clubs}).

Steinberg tabled {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, winning the hand.

A few hands later, Steinberg raised to 8,000 on the button, Cantu defended, and the flop fell {3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Cantu check-called an 8,000-chip bet, then led out for 16,000 when the {q-Spades} turned. Steinberg raised to 40,000, and Cantu tank-folded.

Binger Shoves, Takes The Lead

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Binger limped in on the button, only to meet a raise from Hagerling. Binger called and the two took to a flop.

The dealer put out the {q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop and Hagerling led out with a bet of 25,000. Binger called.

The turn was the {7-Spades} and Hagerling bet again, this time for 65,000. Binger took his time, then after thinking about it for about a minute he moved all in. The dealer started counting out Hagerling stack, but Hagerling informed him that wasn't necessary. After thinking about it for a few seconds, Hagerling folded and Binger was awarded the pot.
