Despite being last in chips, Govert Metaal was one of the first players to arrive today. His opponent, chip leader Brandon Cantu, arrived after the cards were in the air, and didn't even bother to stack his chips.
"The pressure's on me," he told Metaal after the two shook hands.
Metaal jammed the first hand, Cantu folded, and the Dutchman who resides in Monaco has since won a few more pots, chipping up to 37,000. He still has a long road ahead of him, but Metaal is certainly showing no signs of quitting.
