Before the level changed, there was a bring in, Brooks, the winner of the 2008 Stud Hi World Championship completed, and only Seiver called. The rest of the money went in on fourth, and the hands were opened.

Neither player improved on fifth or sixth street, and Seiver quickly flipped over a {6-} on seventh, giving him an unbeatable two pair. Brooks mucked his hand, and shook a few hands before exiting the tournament area.

With Brooks' elimination, Freddie Ellis is the only remaining Stud Hi World Champion remaining.

Rolled Up for Martin

Jesse Martin completed and Matthew Ashton made the call before Eric Brooks raised. Martin responded by making it three bets to force Ashton out as Brooks made it 16,000 total. Martin double-bet on fourth and then bet on fifth and sixth with Martin calling before moving all in for an additional 6,000. Brooks called and this is how the cards fell.

Martin: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} / {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Brooks: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} / {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Brooks was unable to spike a bigger full house on seventh as he found the {J-Diamonds} while Martin received the {7-Spades} to double through to 100,000 in chips.

Sexton bet out on fourth street, prompting two players to fold and Friedman to call. Both players checked on fifth, and Friedman bet out on sixth. Sexton called.

Friedman checked dark on seventh, and Sexton checked behind.

"Sevens at least," Friedman announced. "I haven't looked yet."

He peeled back his seventh card, then fanned {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs} for tens and sevens. Sexton shook his hand, then folded his hand in such a way that you could see the {j-Hearts} for a pair of jacks.

When we arrived on fifth street, the dealer was pulling in a combined 40,000 in bets. The action slowed on sixth and seventh, as Benson called a single bet on the former, and folded to a bet on the latter. Kassela dragged in the pot, and now has over 200,000 chips.

Benson dipped down to 215,000.

It definitely is the Matthew Ashton and Jesse Martin show in the past few hands!

Ashton completed and Martin called all in for 3,000 with David Chiu defending his bring-in. Ashton fired fourth and fifth before Chiu finally folded as both player's boards completed as follows.

With Martin making queens-up, he more than doubled to now sit at 16,000. The next hand Martin would complete over a bring-in and an Ashton call before calling bets on fourth and fifth; with the final seeing him all in for 7,000.

Ashton tabled his {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} to be drawing against Martin's {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, but on sixth Ashton took the lead with the {10-Hearts} while Martin improved with the {7-Clubs}.

The {Q-Diamonds} changed little for Ashton on seventh, but it would be Martin's {7-Hearts} that would see him make quads to double through to 37,000 in chips.

Martin called every bet, then mucked when Ashton showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a flush.

Martin is down to just 6,000 chips, while Ashton rocketed up to 190,000.

"Full house," Koch announced, showing {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

"You know what I had," Friedman said, mucking his cards high enough that the {k-Diamonds} was visible.

Friedman was knocked down to 135,000 chips, while Koch is up to 150,000.

Rudolf Zintel had the bring in and David Chiu completed to 4,000. Zintel made the call before raising on fourth when Chiu bet out. Chiu responded with a three-bet and Zintel made the call before calling all in for 6,000 on fifth.

Zintel tabled his {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a wheel draw and a pair while Chiu tabled his {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} for a pair and a flush draw. Zintel caught the {Q-Hearts} on sixth as Chiu improved with the {A-Clubs}.

Unfortunately for Zintel, the {K-Hearts} on the river wasn't what he was looking for as Chiu found the {8-Hearts} and collected the pot to move to 225,000 in chips.

"I know you have trip aces," Mizrachi said as he called on sixth.

Friedman checked dark going to seventh, and Mizrachi tanked for a bit before checking behind.

"I'm at least rolled up," Friedman announced, sweating his last card.

He tabled {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for trip deuces, and Mizrachi mucked his hand.

"Straight and flush draws," he told Friedman.
