Welcome back to our ongoing coverage of the 2013 World Series of Poker. It's Day 2 for Event #19: $5,000 Pot-Limit Hold'em here in the Amazon room and just 77 of the original 195 entrants are returning for second day play. After eight levels on Day 1, it's 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event champion Dimitar Danchev who leads the field.
This $5,000 buy-in event drew a field of poker's elite to the felt. While many came with the hopes of attaining WSOP fame and glory, a vast majority of them disappeared on the first day of play. Players like Daniel Negreanu, Scott Seiver, Mickey Petersen, Christian Harder, Phil Hellmuth, Brock Parker, John Juanda, Scott Clements, Phil Ivey, and Brian Rast were all felted before the first eight levels came to a close.
With that being said, most of the field is still stacked with notable names in the poker world. Joining Danchev toward the top of the counts are Ted Lawson (91,000), Eugene Katchalov (87,000), Kristijonas Andrulis (72,300), Dan Kelly (67,200), Jason Somerville (66,200), Jason Mercier (59,500), Nick Jivkov (59,300), and 2005 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Hachem (54,600).
We expect an action packed day here in the tan section of the Amazon room, so be sure to stay tuned here for all of the latest updates from the felt!

Max Lykov opened to 1,600 from middle position and it folded around to Andy Frankenberger's big blind. Frankenberger put in what looked like a raise to 5,000. Lykov set Frankenberger all in and the two-time bracelet winner called for his last 8,100 total.
