Ted Lawson Eliminated in 23rd Place ($7,881)

Nível 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Ted Lawson - 23rd Place
Ted Lawson - 23rd Place

Kristina Holst opened with a raise before the flop and it folded to Ted Lawson who announced a pot-sized raise. Holst pushed her whole stack in the middle but had Lawson covered.

Lawson showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} but was dominated by Holst's {A-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. The flop came {2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Lawson was hunting for a queen to stay alive. He did not find it on the turn as the {8-Spades} struck the felt. The {8-Diamonds} completed the board and Lawson was eliminated in 23rd place.

Vitaly Lunkin Eliminated in 24th Place ($7,881)

Vitaly Lunkin -24th Place

Dan Kelly opened with a raise to 8,000 and it folded around to Vitaly Lunkin who made it 20,500 to go. Action came back to Kelly who tanked for a bit before raising the pot. Lunkin called all in and the hands were turned over.

Kelly: {J-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Lunkin: {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Kelly's jacks were crushing Lunkin's fives and stayed that way as the board brought {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{K-Spades}{6-Spades}. Lunkin was sent to the rail in 24th place while Kelly now has about 195,000 in chips.

Paul Volpe Eliminated in 25th Place ($7,881)

Nível 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Paul Volpe - 25th Place
Paul Volpe - 25th Place

JJ Liu opened with a pot sized raise for 14,000 and Paul Volpe three-bet all in over the top. Dmitry Vitkind moved all in with a four-bet over the top from the next seat over and it folded back to Liu who tossed her last 1,000 in to be all in as well.

Liu: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Volpe: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Vitkind: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

Volpe was in the lead with his tens even after Liu paired up on the {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop. The {8-Hearts} came on the turn and it was looking likely that Volpe would scoop a nice pot here. Unfortunately for him, the {A-Clubs} peeled off on the river, giving Liu two pair and Vitkind a dominating pair of aces. Liu was able to triple to 51,000 while Volpe was eliminated from play. Vitkind had him covered and took down that side pot.

Amit Makhija Eliminated in 27th Place ($7,881)

Nível 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Amit Makhija  - 27th Place
Amit Makhija - 27th Place

A short-stacked Amit Makhija was all in before the flop holding {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and racing against Jesse Martin's {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

Martin took the lead on the {3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop and never released it as the {J-Hearts} gave him two pair on the turn and the {6-Clubs} finished off the board on the river. Makhija was the first player to leave with cash and will collect $7,881 in prize money.

Traniello Out; Bubble Bursts

Nível 15 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Marco Traniello Bubble Boy
Marco Traniello Bubble Boy

After folding for almost two hours, Marco Traniello was forced all in for his last 2,000 when his blind came around for less than the (3,000) big blind. Dimitar Danchev called from the cutoff and Mark Herm completed from the small blind.

Both Herm and Danchev checked down the flop ({J-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}), turn ({9-Spades}), and the river ({A-Spades}). but the action was forced to halt before cards were turned over because adjacent tables still had action. At the next table over, Ted Lawson was not aware that this was occurring, because he sat with action on his hand until he chirped up and asked the floor why the hands hadn't been tabled yet. When he learned that they would be shown once action was completed at all tables, he finally decided to fold his hand. A moment later, the hand at his table came to a close and the hands were tabled.

Traniello showed {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for trip nines, but both of his opponents had a spade for the flush. Herm showed {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} but was bested by Danchev's {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. Danchev scooped the pot, Traniello became the bubble boy, and the entire field went on break.

They will return in twenty minutes and do a full re-draw for the final three tables.

Table 348 Counts

Nível 15 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

After crushing the bubble, and making top two against Dan O'Brien, Dario Minieri has rocketed his stack above 400,000 chips.

Another Round for Traniello

Nível 15 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Marco Traniello (Day 1)
Marco Traniello (Day 1)

Marco Traniello posted the big blind of 3,000, leaving a single yellow T1,000 chip behind. JJ Liu raised to 8,000 from early position, and the action folded to Traniello.

"One more hand," he said, folding so that the table could see the {2-Spades}.

On the next hand he was in for less than the small blind. The action folded to him, and he showed {k-Spades}{4-Spades}. Paul Volpe, who was in the big blind, kept his cards hidden, but told Mark Herm that he has "burgers."

"Chirp's got burgers," Herm told Jason Mercier.

"What are burgers?" Mercier asked.

Over on an adjacent table, Dan Kelly and Steven Kelly were heads up on a board of {4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. Dan checked to Steven who fired out 22,500. Dan check-potted, basically going all in, and Steven folded.

Volpe was finally allowed to reveal his burgers - {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} - and the flop fell {3-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. The {6-Hearts} on the turn gave Traniello a gut-shot straight draw, but Volpe held two deuces and Herm admitted to "folding a burger."

Low and behold the case burger - the {2-Hearts} - completed the board, and Traniello doubled to 2,000.

"One more round," he said with a smile.
