Nível 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

Paul Volpe raised from the hijack and Matt O'Donnell three-bet from the small blind. Action folded back to Volpe who four-bet to 5,100. O'Donnell called and then checked the {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop.

Volpe bet 4,200, O'Donnell raised, and soon he was all in and at risk for 20,775 with {J-Spades}{10-Spades}, Volpe was ahead with {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}, but unable to hold through the {2-Diamonds} turn and {J-Hearts} river as O'Donnell hit two pair to double up.

Ivey Chips Up; Leaves

Nível 8 : 300/600, 0 ante

While Event #18 is playing hand-for-hand, Phil Ivey hustled over to the Amazon Room. He played in two hands, including one where he fired out a big bet on a {3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} flop against Nick Jivkov. Jivkov folded, Ivey raked in the pot, and then left his stack to return to the Brasilia Room.

Brock Parker

Brock Parker led out for 6,000 on a board of {3-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}, and JJ Liu raised to 19,000, putting Parker all in. Parker tanked for nearly a minute, then committed the rest of his chips.

Parker: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Liu: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Parker needed a queen, jack, or a spade to survive, but the {9-Diamonds} bricked on the river, and he was eliminated.

Liu now sits with around 58,000 chips.
