Hunichen Eliminates One

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Christopher Hunichen
Christopher Hunichen

Christopher Hunichen came into day 2 third in chips and it is easy to see why. The action folded to his opponent in the small blind who raised to 3,000. Hunichen reraised to 7,000 causing his opponent to think and eventually move all in with {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Hunichen snap called with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and a board of {q-}{j-}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Spades} came to give Hunichen the win and add to his already large stack.

Taylor Gets Lucky

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Action folded to the blinds where Jonathan Taylor, a successful WSOP Circuit grinder, bet a stack of yellows (~20,000). The big blind woke up with {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} and insta-called for less. Taylor's {q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} found two pair on a flop of {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Spades}{a-Clubs} for the win and eliminated his opponent.

Pare Eliminates Two

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Bryson Pare, in early position, raised to 1,700. The player in the hijack went all in as did Mukul Pahuja, from the big blind. After Pare called, the following hands were tabled.

Pahuja: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Pare: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Hijack: {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The board came {j-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades} giving Pare the win and eliminating both his opponents.

Hunichen At It Again

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Christopher Hunichen
Christopher Hunichen

Fresh off his recent final table in Event #6: $1,500 "Millionaire Maker" No-Limit Hold'em, Christopher Hunichen is at it again.

"I just final tabled the Millionaire Maker," he told his table. "So you know I'm running hot."

We just saw him eliminate another player and move even higher up the chip counts today, distancing himself even further from the field.

Preflop, a player moved all in for 26,000. Hunichen moved all in over the top of that bet and everyone else folded.

Hunichen: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
All In: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The board came {Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs} giving Hunichen another notch in his belt and even more chips to pad his stack with. Hunichen is surely looking to improve upon his sixth place finish in the Millionaire Maker with another final table in this event.

Serock Rocked

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We didn't see the all of the action but on a board of {5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} Joe Serock was cutting out chips to send over to his opponent who was holding {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the second nut flush.

Serock is down to just about 13 big blinds after that hand.

Micon Creating A Castle

Nível 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We came to the action with the flop of {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts} already on the board. Bryan Micon, the small blind, check called the 4,200 bet from the player on the button. Both players checked the {10-Spades} turn. The {7-Hearts} river caused both players to think and eventually check. Micon turned over {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a set and the button's hand went into the muck. Micon has more material to add to his creative chip castle.
