In a hand just before the break, defending champ Adam Friedman checked fourth street and "Crazy Marco" Johnson bet. Gavin Smith called, as did Friedman, and it was off to fifth. Again Friedman checked, and this time Johnson did the same. Smith seized the opportunity to toss in a bet, Friedman folded and Johnson came along to sixth.
Smith ended up check-calling a bet, and then did the same on seventh. Johnson tabled the 
for nines with a low, which was good enough to scoop the pot as Smith sent his cards to the muck.
Meanwhile, Maria Ho has been eliminated from the tournament.
