Rae Can't Hold

Nível 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

We found Doralee Rae all in with {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}, leading her opponent's {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}. The flop was grim for Rae, bringing {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades}, and he failed to catch her two-outer when the {2-Diamonds} and {6-Clubs} fell on fourth and fifth streets.

Le Doubles Up

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Former chipleader Hieu Le, recently down to 15 big blinds, is back in business with an average stack.

A player on the button raised to 5,000, and Le shoved for 30,000 from the small blind. The button tanked for two minutes before calling off most of his stack with {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. He wasn't far behind Le's {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, but a {9-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop brought nothing for him. A {4-Hearts} on the turn and {8-Spades} on the river did the same.

It's The End of the Road for Bevins

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Ryan Bevins went all in from the small blind and was immediately called by Wyatt Gibson in the big blind. Bevins held {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Gibson tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

The board came {6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts} giving Gibson a set and sending Bevins home.

Small Takes Chiplead

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Van Vo opened to 5,500 from the hijack. Sean Small reraised to 9,000 from the big blind, and Vo made the call. Small checked the {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop, Vo bet 9,000, and Small called. The turn put trips on the board with the {4-Spades}, and Small once again allowed Vo to take the lead. Vo obliged with an all-in bet, and Small insta-called, tabling {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. Vo was in awful shape with {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, and needed the last four in the deck for a chop. It wasn't to be, and Small took a commanding chip lead in the tournament.

The players have now broken down to five tables and will soon be racing off black chips.

Cahlik Outruns Tangermann

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Kaylan Tangermann raised under the gun, and Josh Cahlik three-bet to 12,000 from the cutoff. Tangermann moved all in for 41,700, and Cahlik called.

Cahlik: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Tangermann: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Cahlik didn't flop a pair, but he flopped everything else as the {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{k-Clubs} hit the board. An {8-Hearts} on the turn made Cahlik put his hands on his head, but salvation came with an {a-Hearts} river. Cahlik is now back among the chipleaders.

Small Sends Barajas Out

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Francisco Barajas raised to 7,000 from the cutoff. Sean Small made it 15,000 from the big blind, and Barajas moved all in after the big blind folded. Small made the call and the players showed their hands:

Barajas: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Small: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop put small way in front with a set, but a {10-Clubs} turn meant he now had a world of outs to fade. A brick {5-Diamonds} fell on the river though, and Barajas was eliminated.
