Action folded to the player in the hijack seat and he raised to 875. Phil Ivey called on the button and the flop came down . The hijack seat checked and Ivey bet 1,300. His opponent called.
On the turn, both players checked to see the land on the river. After his opponent checked, Ivey bet 4,000. His opponent mulled it over and then called. Ivey showed the for two pair, tens and nines, and won the pot.
On the next hand, action folded to Ivey in the cutoff seat and he raised to 900. Phil Collins called from the small blind and the flop came down . Both players checked.
Collins and Ivey also checked the turn card and river card. Collins announced ace high, but Ivey showed the and Collins mucked his hand.
On the next hand after that, Ivey raised to 1,000 from the hijack seat and David Grey called from the big blind to see the flop come down . Grey checked and Ivey bet 1,200. Grey folded and Ivey took his third in a row.
Thanks to these three back-to-back-to-back pots, Ivey has moved over 20,000 in chips.

Ivan Asenov opened to 1,200 from under the gun, Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy called in the hijack seat, and the rest of the players folded. The dealer fanned , and Asenov led out for 2,000. Josephy grabbed an orange T5,000 chip and announced, "Forty-eight hundred,"
Asenov tanked for the better part of a minute, then folded the face up. Bax, who was looking down when Asenov folded, tabled only the .
"You showed an ace?" he asked Asenov. "I thought I was good."
Two players no longer in their seats are Annette Obrestad and Rupert Elder, it appears they both have been eliminated. Elder just tweeted this, and it appears both players will have to wait until next year.

Joseph Cheong raised to 1,000 from middle position. Big stack Brandon Adams called from the cutoff and the rest of the table folded.
The flop fell and Cheong continued with a 1,475 bet. Adams called and the turned. Cheong fired another bullet making it 3,500 to go. Once again he received a call from Adams.
The board completed with a second pair in the form of the . Cheong moved all in for his last 16,500. Adams dipped into his stack and came out with a call.
Cheong tabled and Adam looked at his cards one last time, hoping that they would be able to beat the pocket jacks. Alas, they did not, and he meekly pushed them to the muck.
Adams' massive lost some but is still sitting at a sizable 115,000. Cheong's double put him at 41,000.
Just moments after that last hand Cheong tweeted that he was able to double up again:
