One of cricket's all-time greatest players Shane Warne is in the field and having a go at making a name for himself in the poker world. We recently arrived at Warne's table with a 
flop out on the felt and with 10,000 already in the pot.
At this point Warne's opponent led for 3,650 and Warne made the call. Both players then checked the 
turn and it was on to the 
river. Warne's opponent shoved all in for around 11,000 here and Warne thought deeply for almost a minute before folding his hand and sending the pot away from his stack.
For your information, Warne's largest career poker cash came in 2010 when he finished third in the $10,000 buy-in event at the Victorian Poker Championships in Australia - an event which Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis won. That was worth a $40,000 to Warne and was his first and only five-figure poker score. Let's see if he can add another one with a deep run here in the World Series of poker Main Event.
