Brandon Adams, author of the poker-themed novel Broke, presently sits with just under 100,000 — about two-thirds of the stack with which he started Day 2c.
Just now Adams was prepared to put it all at risk in a hand in which three players had built a pot of about 5,000 to see a 
flop.
A player in middle position began with a bet of 2,800 from middle position, a player a couple of seats over folded, then Adams raised to 8,400 from the button. His lone remaining opponent made it 29,000 to go, then Adams reraised all in, and after much thought his opponent let it go.
