On the four-way flop of , Renato Nowak in the small blind and Stipo Vladic on the button invested 3,000 chips each while the other two players folded. The fell on the turn and Nowak led for 5,000. Vladic now raised to 11,500 and Nowak grinned, mucked the and then said "your ace is good."
At about the same time, Quirin Zech arrived at the same table in the one seat.
Franco Cantarella was trying to represent a flush on a board with four clubs and fired the river for 6,500 with the after missing all his draws. Evangelos Vrakas called with the only and took down the pot.
Cantarella also lost another decently sized pot with against the pocket aces of Patrik Antonius after calling down all three streets of a queen-high board.
Patrik Antonius had bled some chips at the feature table. Following the early exit of Jans-Peter Jachtmann, he was moved to the secondary table to balance the action.
Shortly afterwards, Germany's "Hans Olymp" joined the feature table over in seat 8 to bring the total player pool to 13 players.
Elliot Smith raised to 700 and Stipo Vladic three-bet to 2,000 from the button, which Renato Nowak called in the small blind. Smith also called and the trio checked down the flop and the on the turn. Nowak then bet the river for 5,000 and Smith folded, Vladic called and then mucked once Nowak had flipped over for a flush.
Over on the feature table, Scott Hanna opened the action to 700 under the gun. Newey callled from the hijack, Tomovic called behind from the button, with the blinds folding.

Hanna lead out with a small continuation-bet of 1,200 chips after missing the flop of . Newey called with top pair, while Tomovic threw his hand into the muck. The on the turn was of no help to Hanna who folded after checking the action to Dewey who attempted to extract value with his bet of 2,300.
Stipo Vladic raised to 700 and Patrik Antonius as well as Elliot Smith called in the blinds. On the flop all three players checked and the on the turn saw a check from Antonius and a bet of 1,500 by Smith. Vladic called and the Finn folded as shortest stack at the table with only slightly more than 200 big blinds.
The river completed the board and Smith's value-bet of 3,000 was called by Vladic, who then mucked his cards when he was shown the by Smith.
In a five-way pot to the flop, Stipo Vladic bet 1,600 from the cutoff and all opponents folded. Vladic proudly showed the to all opponents and the edge of the second card could possibly be seen by Renato Nowak, who saw the card last. Franco Cantarella complained about that by the dealer but soon after play continued.
Cantarella received a plate with fresh fruits and his mood lightened up very quickly.
In a three-way pot to the flop , Franco Cantarella bet 9,500 into a pot of 14,200 against Stipo Vladic and Evangelos Vrakas to enforce two folds.
One hand later, Renato Nowak raised to 700 and Elliot Smith called on the button to see a heads-up flop of . Nowak checked and Smith bet 800 before quickly folding to a check-raise of 2,200 by Nowak. The Canadian has not started well so far and lost one fourth of the starting stack.
On the feature table, Pierre Mothes kicked opened to 700 from the hijack with . Patrik Antonius called from the cut-off with , and Hot called from the big blind with .
The flop was sure to bring action as Hot flopped a straight, Antoinius middle-pair and a straight flush draw, and Mothes with a straight draw. The action folded around to Antonius who bet 1,300 which both players called.
The gave Mothes top-pair, however, he was able to get away from the hand after Antonius bet 5,500 chips and Hot check-raised to 13,000.
After Antonius called the raise, the appeared on the turn, giving Antonius three-of-a-kind. Hot led out the action for 20,000. Antonius called the bet after thinking about it for a couple of minutes, and the pot was shipped over to Hot after his flopped straight held through the river.
