Kabrhel Continues Aggression

Nível 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel opened from under the gun with the {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Pierre Mothes three-bet to 51,000, holding the {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} in the small blind. Kabrhel called and faced a bet worth 75,000 on the flop {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades}. The Czech called and Mothes then checked the {5-Clubs} turn to face a bet of 129,000 by Kabrhel.

Stipo Vladic asked the service for a Cafe Latte and Mothes was still in the think tank. The German folded the aces and Kabrhel scooped yet another big pot.

Mothes Makes Tough Laydown

Nível 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Pierre Mothes opened from the button and Martin Kabrhel defended his big blind. On the {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, Kabrhel checked and then called a bet worth 30,000 by Mothes with the {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a flopped straight. Mothes held {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and the {8-Diamonds} fell on the turn. Kabrhel bet 77,000 and was called before the {9-Spades} turn filled up the board.

Kabrhel tanked for a fair amount of time and Mothes called the clock on his opponent. The Czech then fired a hefty 177,000 and Mothes folded after an eternity, though the laydown was the correct play.

Hans Olymp Busts to Martin Kabrhel

Nível 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Hans Olymp
Hans Olymp

Hans Olymp had stolen the blinds and antes one hand ago and then faced the 20,000-raise by Martin Kabrhel. On the flop {4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}, Olymp moved all in for 10 big blinds and Kabrhel was thinking. "jack or nine? Eight-ten? I would love to see eight-ten," the Czech added and then called.

Olymp: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Kabrhel: {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The {J-Hearts} on the turn changed nothing and the {8-Hearts} river completed a straight for Kabrhel to reduce the field to the last four. The tournament is now on the money bubble with a payday of four times the buy in up for grabs.

Zukernik and Olymp Get Shorter

Nível 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel was trying to get creative and bet the river of a {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{K-Spades}{10-Hearts} board for 18,000. The Czech only had {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Stipo Vladic raised to 67,000 with the {7-Clubs}{6-Spades} to win the hand uncontested.

One hand later, Philipp Zukernik raised from the cutoff with the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Kabrhel called with the {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. They checked down the {4-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop and Zukernik check-folded the {J-Diamonds} turn.

Smapp Pot for Vladic

Nível 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Stipo Vladic raised to 18,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Pierre Mothes called from one seat over with the {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Both players checked the flop {6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and Vladic then took it down with a bet of 35,000 on the {8-Diamonds} turn.

The action has slowed down significantly over the last few hours and there is no end in sight yet.

Mothes Bluffs the Turn

Nível 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel got creative with the {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} but then gave up the hand against Pierre Mothes after only having found bottom pair. The German won the checked down river of a {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board with the {J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for a pair of sixes.

Then, Stipo Vladic opened from the cutoff and got called by Mothes from one seat over. On the flop {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}, Vladic continued for 21,000 with the {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for middle pair and Mothes called with the {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for a gutshot. The {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Vladic checked, then folded to a bet of 33,000.
