Hills to Re-enter

Andrew Hills was short on chips when he bet 3,000 into a pot of around 5,000 with the on the board. Boubekeur Benhalima jammed for heaps and Hills called off his remaining stack of around 4,000.

Hills needed a two-outer to save his first bullet with his opponent holding a straight and Hills needing a ten. The completed the board on the river and Benhalima won the hand.

"Nice hand," Hills said to his opponent as he began to leave the table.

Hills shared that he will immediately re-enter the Main Event hoping for better success on his second bullet.

Flush for Meignan

Thierry Delpui raised whether there were limpers or not to 1,200 for at least five straight hands including the one that just took place.

Thomas Meignan limped from early position and Delpui raised to 1,200. The action folded back around to Meignan, who made the call.

Meignan check-called a bet of 1,200 after the came on the flop. Both players checked after the came on the turn. Meignan led out for 4,400 after the completed the board on the river and Delpui quickly called.

Meignan turned over for a flush.

"Oy, yoy, yoy," said Delpui as he mucked his hand.

Meanwhile, Andrew Hills is off to a slow start at the same table and is down to 11,500 in chips.

Olivier Baudot three-bet jammed for 2,700. A player three-bet to 5,000 before Jean-Marc Dijoux four-bet to 16,000. The player that three-bet got out of the way and players turned over their cards.

Baudot was behind but the tables turned after he paired the flop. Baudot improved his hand even further to trips after the came on the turn followed by the on the river to get a triple-up.

Patrice Chamarre check-called a bet of 7,000 by Frederic Rizzo with 8,000 in the pot and the on the board.

Chamarre checked again after the completed the board on the river and Rizzo announced he was all in for about 20,000, which more than covered the about 15,000 Charmarre had behind.

Charmarre immediately put both hands on his head and went into the tank for about three minutes. He eventually folded showing the table he had .

Rizzo showed Charmarre he made the correct fold on the river as he turned over for trips.

Also at the table, was today's first elimination in Lior Tal back hoping for more success the second time around today.

There will be another 15-minute break after Level 6 followed by a 75-minute dinner break after Level 9. After the dinner break, late registration will be closed and shortly after that, players should be informed of the total prize pool and payouts.
