Zerjav Binks an Ace

Zerjav vs Wakil
Zerjav vs Wakil

Blinds 12,500-25,000

Once the action folded to Blaz Zerjav in the small blind, he shipped it in for nearly 550k and was called by Jamil Wakil.

Blaz Zerjav: {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Jamil Wakil: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Zerjav needed an ace or straight cards and got that on the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} board.

Moran's Stack is Melted

Blinds 12,500-25,000

Daniel "PartyPete" Moran had all but the last 12,500 in preflop and then called all-in when big stack Darren Elias bet the {k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop.

Daniel "PartyPete" Moran: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Darren Elias: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

The {10-Hearts} turn gave Elias a superior pair and the {a-Clubs} river was of no help to Moran.

"KennyKaarten" On the Rail

Blinds 12,000-25,000

As the field has dropped well below 180 contenders, it was "KennyKaarten" who fell next when {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} had a kicker problem to the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} of "REPTAR". The {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs} problem didn't solve that and "REPTAR" earned back previous losses.

Knockouts for Segebrecht and Kaphues

Segebrecht busts one
Segebrecht busts one

Blinds 10,000-20,000

Israel's "d1eg0" got it in preflop out of the small blind with the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Claas Segebrecht had that crushed with the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} in the big blind. The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and the aces held.

One hand later, Chris Klodnicki jammed {j-Spades}{10-Spades} into the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} of Lars "schimmelgodx" Kamphues and that prevailed on the {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} runout.

Truntsev Busts to Nemeth and Reis

Truntsev busts in three-way action
Truntsev busts in three-way action

Blinds 10,000-20,000

Fedor "LoremCDMX" Truntsev was at risk out of the small blind and faced Andras Nemeth out of the big blind as well as Flavio "Palau777" Reis in the hijack.

Fedor "LoremCDMX" Truntsev: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}
Flavio "Palau777" Reis: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Andras Nemeth: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Truntsev was drawing dead to the {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts} turn and that made the {4-Clubs} river a formality.

Jiang Eliminated by Paalanen

Jiang vs Paalanen
Jiang vs Paalanen

Blinds 10,000-20,000

The cards were already on their backs for a pot worth more than half a million in chips, as Sosia "Aunty_Ninja" Jiang was in need of help. Having previously lost ace-king to ace-nine, Jiang was in with the {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and faced the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} of Akseli "PIMARO69" Paalanen.

Only one four appeared on the {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} board to end Jiang's run.

Jattin Among the Next to Bust

Jattin eliminated
Jattin eliminated

Blinds 10,000-20,000

In a battle small blind versus button, Farid Jattin was at risk with the {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} following an open-shove by "TheoHernandez" with the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. The overcards made trips on the {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} board to send Jattin out in 241st place.

Moorman Spikes the River

Blinds 8,000-16,000

Chris Moorman raised for all but the last 12,000 out of the small blind and then called all-in when Alex Greenblatt jammed the superior stack out of the big blind.

Chris Moorman: {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Alex Greenblatt: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Moorman was trailing on the {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and {2-Clubs} turn but got there on the {7-Spades} river.

Ambraisse Hits the Rail

Blinds 8,000-16,000

A short-stacked Idris Ambraisse put his hopes on the {a-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Kazuhiro "propofol-san" Shirasawa had the superior {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} in showdown.

On a board of {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} the kicker played as Shirasawa pulled above one million in chips.

"BadSolver" Above a Million

Blinds 8,000-16,000

Hungarian player Csaba "PumpedGabo" Szasz three-bet jammed out of the big blind with a short stack, tabling the {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. He was looked up by "BadSolver" with the {10-Spades}{8-Spades} and the {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts} board gave "BadSolver" two pair.
