Barbero Runs Into Kings

Nacho Barbero jammed for 41,500 from middle position and was at risk against Jacopo Achille in the cutoff.

Nacho Barbero: A♥9♥
Jacopo Achille: K♠K♦

"Perfect," Barbero said. "I'm winning this one for sure."

The dealer spread the 10♠10♦5♠ flop to keep the kings ahead.

"What?" Barbero said in disbelief as an ace somehow did not appear on the flop.

The K♣ turn left Barbero drawing dead, and the meaningless 8♦ confirmed the result to eliminate him.
