Sam Higgs limped, Jeff Rossiter did the same, and then Phil Hellmuth raised to 1,100 from the button. Geoffrey Moony called from the big blind, and then Higgs woke up with a three-bet to 4,700. Rossiter flatted, Hellmuth folded in frustration — leaving himself just 3,175 behind — and Moony got out of the way.
When the flop came down , Higgs announced pot and Rossiter snap-folded. Higgs then showed just the

Australian Poker Hall of Famer Gary Benson is fresh off a fourth-place finish in Event #4 $1,650 Pot-Limit Omaha for $16,563, and he's in our field looking for even more PLO success. He's got a good shot at it too as he is already sitting with 40,000, much of which he just took off Sam Higgs.
We picked up the action with 12,900 in the pot and a board reading . Benson bet 7,000 from the big blind and Higgs thought for about 30 seconds before calling from the button. Benson tabled the
for a turned set, and it was good as Higgs simply mucked his cards.

We happened upon the action with Roland Israelashivili having 2,500 laid out in front of him while Casey Kastle and Van Marcus were all in for 10,350 and 10,200 respectively. Israelashivili was debating what to do, and after a couple minutes in the tank he released his hand.
Marcus:
Kastle:
Both players held aces, but the flop gave Marcus a redraw to a straight. The
turn completed it, and after the
was put out on the river, Kastle was left with just 150 in chips.
Marcus laid claim to those a short time later when his quads beat Kastle's
full house on a board reading

Jeff Lisandro won his sixth WSOP Bracelet earlier today, however his run in the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha came to a rather early end. Lisandro was short stacked out of the small blind and saw the
flop. The remainder of his stack went in against Dylan Wilkerson and the latter held
for middle pair and the open ended straight draw.
Lisandro was still ahead with
, but the
on the turn gave Wilkerson a straight. The
on the river blanked and Lisandro was gone.

We're not sure when the chips went in, but we do know that Phil Ward just doubled through Julian Lee at the feature table. By the looks of it they got it in on the flop, but whatever the case, the board read and Ward doubled holding the
, which bested the
of Lee.
