Mohamed Alaoui Solimani raised and was called by Alexane Najchaus in the small blind. The player in the big blind also called and three players went to the flop.

The flop came QK2. Action checked to Solimani, who continued for 1,100. Najchaus called and the big blind folded.

The turn was the 2. Najchaus checked and Solimani bet 5,000, which Najchaus called.

The river was the A. Najchaus twiddled her chips and looked across at her opponent before finally firing out a large bet of 20,000. Solimani thought for a while before moving all in.

Najchaus quickly made the call. Solimani showed A5 for two pair with his aces and the deuces on board. Najchaus, however, flipped over A2 for a full house. She doubled up to over 100,000 chips on her very first hand at the table.

Winamax pro Adrian Mateos won the SISMIX Main Event in 2018 for $106,128. The following year the festival was held in Spain, where German player Tim Hartmann took down the Main Event for $112,875.

But as any veteran of the festival knows, SISMIX is as much about the parties as it is about the poker.

Today’s schedule includes a pool party with relaxed vibes from 2 p.m. and the Winamax Beer Pong Open starting at 8 p.m. Later on, from 11:30 p.m., DJ James and Bonny will be bringing the house party vibes over at Theatro. Those who bust the Main Event won’t be too disappointed. They might well get lucky elsewhere.

PokerNews will be covering the Main Event from start to finish, so stay tuned to see how the action unfolds.
