Two Unibet Open regulars, chess grandmaster Loek van Wely and Egi Adriaans, have been eliminated from Day 1b. Van Wely four-bet shoved with against a player who already committed himself with after the three-bet. The player with six-trey flopped a six to send Van Wely packing.
Adriaans lost a lot of his stack with ace-king against ace-deuce and shoved his final eight big blinds with ace-deuce himself all in. The big blind called with pocket fours and flopped a four to eliminate the Belgian.
With the flop coming down , Victor Ilyukhin and Matyas Csiszar didn't need much time to get both of their stacks in the middle. Ilyukhin was at risk in the 130,000 pot, Csiszar had him barely covered.

Csiszar's straight flush draw was up against Ilyukhin's trip tens and got there on the turn. Ilyukhin had outs to a redraw, but bricked on the river and was forced to the rail.
After nurturing a short stack throughout the day, brand-new Unibet Ambassador Dara O'Kearney shoved pocket sixes into pocket eights and couldn't catch up.

Today will not be the day of Griffin Benger and Will Kassouf locking horns again. After Benger hit the rail earlier, it was now the talkative solicitor from Britain who was forced to the showers.
Kassouf lost his stack in two hands. In the first hand, Kassouf bumped it to 5,000 with after a few people limped. Gary Fisher called with from the big blind and saw a dream flop of appear. Kassouf, directly drawing dead, got his stack in on the turn and dropped to ten big blinds.
In the following hand, Kassouf shoved and got called by . A nine on the flop and the turn ended Kassouf's run in this tournament.
With the blinds at 500/1,000, the big all-in moves get more frequent by the minute. Unibet Ambassador Dara O'Kearney was all-in with his final 11 big blinds, but didn't get a call.
At the oher tables, Fredrik Lindstrom eliminated a player with against . The board ran out and despite some rather strong objection from one of his tablemates, a full house still beats a flush and Lindstrom scored the knockout.
On another table, Matyas Csiszar eliminated a short-stacked player with pocket kings against pocket nines and moved up to 60,000.
