We happened upon the action with approximately 13,000 in the pot and a board reading 
. The UK's Elior Benjamin Sion was first to act and promptly bet 11,000, which prompted his fellow countryman Alex Christoper Lindop to shove all in from the button. Sion shrugged before calling off his what little he had behind and the cards were tabled.

Facing an under-the-gun raise to 450 and call from the cut-off, Ireland’s Sandro Taddei elected to call from the button. The small blind folded, but the big blind called to create a four way pot.
A flop of 
arrived and no one fancied a stab at it as it was checked around.
When a 
appeared on the turn the original raiser could wait no longer and fired out a bet of 1,200. Eyes hidden behind dark glasses, the shaven headed Taddei was the only caller.
The river brought the 
and discretion was definitely the better part of valour for the aggressor as he checked it to the implacable Irishman.
Taddei knew he had the winning hand and wasted no time turning over the 
, gallantly allowing his opponent to nod his head and muck his cards unseen.

Chris Day, the 22 year old based out of London, was the unfortunate bubble boy yesterday in the Irish Poker Championship. While his hopes of winning that event were crush by Steve O'Dwyer, he's managed to pick himself back up and is taking another shot at Full Tilt Poker UKIPT Galway glory.

Disaster For Williams

No luck for Kevin Williams, he bet 1,000 on the turn of a 
board only to be raised to 2,300 by Jan Przysucha. Williams called then checked the 
river and Przysucha set his opponent in for his last 4,400.
Williams rechecked his cards and looked on inexplicably before calling off his remaining chips.

With just minutes to go before the first break, table ten saw a five way limped pot.
The flop was . The blinds checked and Jack Salter decided he would claim the pot with a bet of 1,500. He was called by Christopher Day but Mick Graydon was hiding in the small blind ready with a three bet to 3,200. Salter quickly got out of the way.
The action was back on Day who decided to get frisky with the old 4-bet to 6,800.
Without much hesitation Graydon slid forward a tower of all his high denomination chips. The bet was enough to put Day out of the tournament if he called and lost.
As Day thought, the twenty minute break was called and the rest of the players left them to it, not interested enough in the outcome to waste a precious minute.
Day’s headphones went into the bag at his side. A few more minutes ticked away. If he folds now he can still have the majority of the break and still be alive in the tournament.
With a sigh he pushed his cards towards the dealer.
“Please show the bluff?” Day asked Graydon.
Graydon showed the
Day then retrieved his own cards from the dealer and turned over 
Level upon level. At least they can both enjoy their break.
