David Ledden opened the cutoff to 50,000 and Arian Kashani three-bet the button to 100,000. Daniel Livens was in the big blind and shoved his stack of almost 3,000,000 into the middle, which got Ledden to fold. Kashani got out his phone, which is usually an indicator he wants to record his fate, then called off his stack of 420,000.

There was still one more card to come, but the 2♠ river wasn't what Sherwood needed, and he was sent to the rail.

With around 500,000 chips already in the pot on a flop of 10♦8♥8♣, Christopher Brammer fired out 230,000 from the small blind, and Parminder Kandola called from the hijack.

The 7♥ dropped on the turn and after giving it some thought, Brammer checked, and Kandola checked back.

A 2♥ brought in the backdoor flush draw on the river and again both players took their time before they checked. Brammer then tossed over K♣Q♥, and to his surprise, his hand was good as Kandola mucked.
