The previous hand, Felix Schneiders took down a small pot with a preflop reraise.
The following hand, it was Schneiders turn to be raised off the pot. He made an open raise to 1,800 from late position and was reraised by Duc Quy Nguyen from the button. Schneiders was forced to make the fold and Nguyen scooped the pot.

Following an under the gun raise and call, Johnny Hofseth reraised to 5,300 and then Hugo Loustau moved all in from the big blind for 12,600. Hofseth looked down at his stack and then tossed a chip in to signify the call. Two players flipped their cards, with Loustau at risk.

Many of the hands recently played have been taken down preflop with raises and reraises.
In one such hand, Luc LaFontaine opened under the gun and picked up a call from the small blind before Max Buschmann reraised to 6,300 from the big blind. LaFontaine didn't relent though. He put in a four-bet to 16,500 and Buschmann made the fold.
Yoni Lipshitz opened the action with a raise and Izzat Bananyarli called on the button, as did the player in the big blind.
The flop came 10♣3♦J♣. Lipshitz checked, as did the big blind, and Bananyarli bet 1,500. Lipshitz then pushed all in with a short stack and Bananyarli made the call.

Lipshitz was drawing to the nut flush and Bananyarli had a pair of tens. The turn came the 2♣ and the river the 9♣. The turn completed Lipshitz flush to give him the double up.
Van Hong Quang Tran raised to 1,000, David Docherty reraised to 2,000 and Tran made the call. The flop came 2♥7♦3♠. Tran checked and Docherty continued for 1,100. Tran folded and Docherty scooped a small pot.
Docherty won the 2023 Irish Open earlier in the year, turning $109 into €365,000 in the process. He currently has under the starting stack, but is still in contention for the Summer Festival Malta Main Event.
Marcin Puczylowski raised to 1,100 from middle position and Christopher Ibold moved all in for 4,500 chips. Puczylowski was priced in and made the call. The two players flipped their cards, with Ibold at risk.

Ibold had pocket fours, but the board ran out J♥Q♦K♣2♣3♦ to give Puczylowski a pair of kings on the flop. He held up and Ibold was eliminated from the tournament.
Marcin Puczylowski raised from middle position and Tonino Schmitz, sitting on one of the bigger stacks in the tournament, made a reraise to 3,500. Puczylowski made the call.
The flop came 6♦4♣Q♥ and Puczylowski checked to the aggressor. Schmitz made it 3,000 to go and Puczylowski made the call. The turn came the 2♦ and both players checked.
The river was the 2♣ and Puczylowski opted to make a small bet of 1,100. Schmitz shrugged his shoulders before declaring all in for the rest of Puczylowski's stack, an effective bet of 11,600.
Puczylowski quickly made the call and flipped over Q♦J♦ for top pair. Schmitz tapped the table and mucked his hand, while Puczylowski scooped the pot for a double up.
