The PokerStars Summer Festival Malta, running at the InterContinental Hotel, will conclude today with the Final Day of the Main Event starting at 12 p.m. local time.

The event will play down to a winner today and PokerNews will be bringing live updates of the Final Day straight from the tournament floor.

The announcement has been made. It's time to shuffle up and deal. The Final Day of the PokerStars Summer Festival Malta Main Event is officially underway.
Action folded around to Emmanouil Asgoudakis, who pushed all in from the cutoff for 705,000. He was called by Marcin Lesniewski in the small blind. Players flipped their cards, with Asgoudakis at risk.
Emmanouil Asgoudakis: J♠J♥
Marcin Lesniewski: 10♦10♠
Asgoudakis was well ahead with his pocket jacks against Lesniewski's tens. However, the board ran out 10♣9♣9♦2♠K♠ to give Lesniewski a full house on the flop.
Lesniewski held and Asgoudakis was the first to bust on the Final Day. He was eliminated from the tournament in 11th place for €11,320.

Action folded around to Grzegorz Skawinski, who pushed all in from the button for 745,000. Tommy Nguyen asked for the chip count and then isolated all in from the small blind. After waiting for the other table to finish the hand, he and Skawinski flipped their cards, with Skawinski at risk.
Grzegorz Skawinski: J♠10♥
Tommy Nguyen: K♥Q♥
The board ran out 6♠9♦Q♦J♣2♠. The flop brought Swakinski a straight draw and Nguyen a pair of queens. The turn also brought Swakinski a pair of jacks, but the river came a blank and Nguyen held with his queens.
