In the cutoff, Peter Chan opened to 18,000 and Pratyush Buddiga called in the small blind. The flop fell 
and both players checked. On the 
turn, Buddiga bet 40,000 and Chan called before a bet worth 125,000 on the 
river did the trick for Buddiga, forcing a fold from Chan.
The registration has closed as the cards are back in the air and two players have not shown up yet including Wai Kin Yong. The only player to buy in again before the start of Day 2 was David Peters, bumping the field to 39 entries in total.

So far, 29 unique players and nine re-entries created a 38-entry strong field, but the registration remains open until level 10 kicks in with blinds of 4,000-8,000 and a running ante of 1,000.
After nine levels of 60 minutes each, 23 players bagged up chips last night and 2016 Big One For One Drop Extravaganza champion Elton Tsang in the lead. He is the only player above one million so far with 1,004,000, followed by Macau high-stakes player Paul Phua (796,000), and HK$ 250,000 6-Max Event champion Daniel Colman, who is looking for back-to-back wins here in Manila after claiming 769,000 on Day 1 of the Main Event. Colman defeated Erik Seidel two days ago for his third six-digit score in 2017, banking HK$ 3,641,600 (approximately $473,408).
Colman will receive his trophy on Tuesday, presented by Hublot, the official timekeeper of the high-stakes festival. Other notables that made it through with above-average stacks in a star-studded field include Peter Chan (685,000), 2016 Triton Suncity Cup winner Dan Cates (609,000), Pratyush Buddiga (560,000), Sergio Aido (520,000) and Jack Salter (470,000). They are joined by the likes of Mustapha Kanit (343,000), Founder of Triton Richard Yong (340,000), defending Main Event champion Wai Kin Yong (244,000), John Juanda (240,000), Phil Ivey (231,000) and 6-Max third-place finisher Rainer Kempe (186,000).
All players that opt to re-enter before the start of Day 2 or join the competition for the first time will receive 250,000 in chips and the prize pool information will be finalized once the registration has closed. The penultimate day of the tournament is scheduled to play down to the official final table of the last eight before then determining the Triton Super High Roller Manila champion tomorrow as of 1 p.m. local time.
