Wang and Seidel Join the Competition
Qiang Wang and Erik Seidel are the latest two additions to the field. Seidel took the empty seat that formerly belonged to Si Xin Qin and Wang sat down next to Dario Sammartino.
In the first hand, Wang limped in and Richard Yong raised to 12,000. In the cutoff, Paul Phua reraised to 34,000 and claimed the pot without further resistance.
One hand later, Sammartino made it 6,100 to go from under the gun and Wang called. On the

The hand after, the action folded to Wang in the small blind and he opted for a raise to 6,200. Sammartino clicked to 20,000 and won the pot. Wang kept smiling and joking in Chinese with Yong and the rest of the table though, so his spirit hasn't taken a hit after this welcome to the table.
