Donw to two blinds, Robert Cowley got it in with the 3♠3♦ and Maureen Bloechlinger looked him up with the A♦7♥. The A♥J♦10♠Q♣7♣ board gave Bloechlinger two pair and the knockout.
Edgar Antezana raised to 30,000 with the A♦J♠ and then folded when Maureen Bloechlinger jammed her shorter stack with the A♠Q♦.
Soon after, Antezana limped the A♠A♥ from under the gun and Didier Mery raised to 45,000 in the cutoff holding the Q♠Q♣, Antezana called. They checked down the J♠J♥8♥9♥5♥ board and Antezana smirked when he claimed the pot with the ace-high flush.
Cliton Taliwanth nearly tripled up in a flip with 9♥9♣ against the A♣K♥ of Muaaz Gani, who had jammed out further players in the pot. The 6♣2♥2♠4♥10♦ board kept Taliwanth in contention.
Up next, Gani raised to 25,000 in the hijack. Abraham Van Huyssteen jammed for 73,000 on the button and the blinds folded, Gani called.
Abraham Van Huyssteen: 6♥6♦
Muaaz Gani: K♥10♣
The pocket pair improved to a full house on the Q♣3♣3♠6♠2♦ runout.
The last The Hendon Mob qualifier Florian Bock has continued to add chips and surged well above the average on table 11. In the last hand, he was in the hijack and took on Eben Mare on the button. The turn showed J♥5♣3♥A♦ and Bock fired a bet of 85,000.
Mare used one time bank and then folded.
Shortly after, Marko Nortje raised to 27,000 and Gerhard Oosthuizen three-bet to 80,000 on the button. Nortje jammed and Oosthuizen was visibly shook. Both engaged in some table chat before Oosthuizen called all-in.
Gerhard Oosthuizen: Q♦Q♥
Marko Nortje: Q♠Q♣
After the 5♠5♣2♦ flop, another player grinned and said "boring" as the split pot was guaranteed. No surprise shenanigans came on the K♥ turn and 5♦ river.
Before their table broke, Adam Gamsy took a smaller chunk out of the large stack of Marko Nortje and calmed down the surge of the chip leader. They both headed to table 11 on which Gamsy then called the shove by Eben Mare for 153,000 preflop.
Eben Mare: A♣9♦
Adam Gamsy: A♦J♦
The inferior kicker struck gold on the 10♦9♣8♠A♥2♦ runout and Mare put a dagger into Gamsy's stack.
Samuel Finder was all-in preflop for around 125,000 and was called by Florian Bock from the next seat.
Samuel Finder: K♠Q♥
Florian Bock: J♣J♥
One of Finder's outs was folded but he took the lead on the K♥9♥4♦ flop. Bock then spiked the J♠ turn to leave Finder with four outs to a straight. None of them came as the 3♠ river sent Finder out in 25th place.
Clive Kikia check-jammed for the last 66,000 on the 9♦6♣4♦ flop and was called by Wesley Blom as well as Marko Nortje. The two active players checked down the J♠ turn and 10♥ river.
Kikia showed the 10♦7♦ for a gutshot and flush draw that instead made a pair of tens. Nortje's 7♠6♠ and the A♦Q♣ of Blom failed to score the knockout.
Abraham Van Huyssteen then tripled up with Nortje involved again when his king-queen rivered a pair of queens.
