Danny Tang

Everyone made the call until Danny Tang decided to raise it up to 4,000 for Leow to push his last 9,000 over the line. Everyone but Katz and Tang folded.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, Tang check-called the 10,000 bet of Katz for both players to check through the {7-Diamonds} on the turn to the {a-Hearts} on the river. Both players checked again. Tang tabled the {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} for two pair and Leow showed the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for the lower two pair while Katz mucked his hand.

Xia Jiang He
Xia Jiang He

Phil Ivey was seen leaving the tournament room and when the PokerNews team checked at the table, Rene van Krevelen was kind enough to relay that Ivey held ace-king while Xia Jiang He had pocket kings.

While Van Krevelen said this, there was already around 32,000 in the middle while the board read {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. "C Liang" bet 25,000 and Stephen Chidwick made the call. He put in 200,000 for "C Liang" to call for the 84,000 he had in total while Chidwick folded.

"C Liang": {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Xia Jiang He: {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

"C Liang" had the open-ended straight draw while He had two pair.

The river completed the board with the {a-Clubs} to seal the deal and get He over the 1 million mark.

Full House for Badziakouski Gives Him the Chip Lead

Nível 7 : 0/0, 5,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Mikita Badziakouski called and so did Danny Tang and Chi Zhang. Paul Phua raised to 10,0000 for "Peng" to make the call. "Y Huang" shoved for 154,000 for Badziakouski to tank and then call. The action folded back to Peng who also took some time before making the call.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{q-Spades} for "Peng" to check. Badziakouski bet 200,000 and "Peng" shoved with the bigger stack. Badziakouski called for the 423,000 he had behind.

"Y Huang": {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Mikita Badziakouski: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
"Peng": {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}

"Y Huang" held the overpair while "Peng" had the open-ended straight draw. But Badziakouski was ahead with the flopped set.

The turn was the {8-Spades} for Badziakouski to improve to a full house but "Peng" picked up the flush draw.

The river completed the board with the {9-Clubs} to give "Peng" the straight which wasn't good enough to avoid the huge pot for Badziakouski.

"Y Huang" reloaded but lost that last stack shortly after.

"Peng" raised to 10,000 and Mikita Badziakouski made the call. Danny Tang shoved for 95 for both Peng and Badziakouski to make the call.

They both checked through the {8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop and the {q-Diamonds} on the turn to the {7-Hearts} on the river. Peng quickly checked and then folded when Badziakouski bet 100,000.

Badziakouski tabled the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} for top pair for Tang to triple up with the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the nut-flush.
