Addamo Doubles Through Bosca

Nível 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,250 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

With 226,000 chips in the middle on a {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} board, Vicent Bosca moved all in, covering his opponent Michael Addamo who sat with 112,000 chips.

Addamo called with {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for straight and flush draws and was up against the trip aces {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of Bosca.

The river was the {q-Diamonds}, improving Addamo to a flush and doubling him up.

partypoker Ambassador Koon Doubles Up

Nível 12 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Jason Koon
Jason Koon

Jason Koon got his last 300,000 chips in pre-flop against Linus Loeliger.

Jason Koon: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Linus Loeliger: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Koon is the last partypoker Ambassador remaining and he flopped best on the {k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop. The turn {q-Clubs} gave Loeliger a pair but it wasn't enough as the river {j-Spades} secured Koon the double up.

Kings vs Kings vs Ace-Ten Sees Vieira Eliminated

Nível 12 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

Dan Shak raised to 30,000 in the hijack and Joao Vieira three-bet all in for 159,000 from the cutoff. Sam Greenwood called on the button. Jonathan van Fleet four-bet all in for 671,000 from the big blind. Shak folded and Greenwood called.

Joao Vieira: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Sam Greenwood: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Jonathan van Fleet: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Unbelievably, both Greenwood and Van Fleet had picked up pocket kings. There were no dramas on the {3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Hearts} board that saw Vieira sent to the rail.

After almost eight-and-a-half hours of play, just 13 players remain in the Super High Roller Bowl Online on partypoker.

The field of 50 players - the fourth-biggest in Super High Roller Bowl history - generated a prize pool of $5,000,000, beating the guarantee by $2,000,000. The winner will take home $1,775,000 and the SHRB Championship Ring.

A late surge by Super High Roller Bowl London runner-up Ali Imsirovic (2,226,009) denied David Peters (2,107,400) the overnight chip lead. Peters had held the lead for much of the day, but will have to come from behind if he's going to take down the title.

Peters and Imsirovic are the only two players over two million in chips ahead of Jon Van Fleet, Linus Loeliger and Dan Shak.

Four former Super High Roller Bowl champions were eliminated today, with Daniel Dvoress (SHRB Bahamas), Christoph Vogelsang (SHRB III), Isaac Haxton (SHRB V), and Timothy Adams (SHRB Australia & SHRB Sochi) all falling short of Day 2. That leaves Justin Bonomo (SHRB China & SHRB IV) the only former champion in contention when play resumes at 19:00 BST on June 2nd.

Super High Roller Online Day 1 Recap

By the end of the first level, the field was already up to 40 players with reigning WSOP Main Event champion Hossein Ensan leading after making a flush against Pavel Veksler.

Veksler would become the first elimination of the day at the hands of Darrell Goh. Other early eliminations included Stephen Chidwick, Mikita Badziakouski, Kahle Burns, Adrian Mateos, Kristen Bicknell, and Chris Hunichen.

During the early part of the day, the chip lead changed hands on numerous occasions, but ultimately it was David Peters (pictured) who took control in sensational fashion. After eliminating Chris Hunichen, Michael Zhang and Andras Nemeth in the space of an hour, he moved up to two million in chips, more than double second-in-chips Sam Greenwood at the time.

Ensan was a high-profile elimination after registration closed, who flopped a flush when all-in against Dan Shak, only for Shak to go runner-runner to make a full house and eliminate Ensan. Also eliminated after registration closed were Artur Martirosian, Thomas Boivin, Dan Smith, Matthias Eibinger and Seth Davies.

Peters still led with 24 and 16 players remaining, but found his chip lead under threat with two tables remaining as both Sam Greenwood and Ali Imsirovic caught up and eventually surpassed him.

Wiktor Malinowski, Ben Sulsky and Jason Koon were the last three eliminations of the day, and ultimately it was Imsirovic who got his nose ahead and will return in the lead with 13 players remaining.
