Taariq Jaftha bet the heads-up river of J♣8♦2♣7♣K♥ for 50,000 in the big blind. Gavin Sardini reluctantly folded on the button and Jaftha tossed his 8♥5♦ towards Sardini before raking in the pot.
Three ways to the K♥Q♥9♣ flop on the feature table, Greg Tucker bet 17,000 from an early position and Stefan Van Huyssteen called in the hijack with Q♦10♥. Jonathan Hoal then pushed all-in for 111,000 on the button and Tucker called, Van Huyssteen folded.

The move at the wrong time brought Hoal's exit after the 2♣ turn and A♥ river.
On a flop of A♠10♠5♦, Hennie Appel checked and Jaryd Jardien in the cutoff bet 17,000. Appel in late position check-shoved for 76,000 and Jardien relcutantly folded.
Up next, a three-way flop of K♠9♣4♠ saw Norman Cherry Sr bet for 15,000 and Jonathan Kalil called in the next seat. They checked the 2♠ turn and Cherry Sr then jammed the 9♥ river for 94,000. Kalil folded and was shown Q♠7♠ for a flush.
Gareth Fourie had already folded and Alan Jung was still in the tank when Jaryd Jardien next to him had gone all-in over the top for 101,000. Jung pondered about it for a short while and then folded 8♣8♠.
Fourie mentioned he had let go of ace-ten and Jardien never showed his cards.
In a single-raised four-way flop of 9♠8♦6♠, Dawie Cronje was all-in for 55,000 with 9♣8♣ against the Q♦9♦ of Jonathan Hoal.
The 7♣ turn and A♦ river were both bricks and Hoal took a knock to his stack.
Vishal Ghoorbin raise-called the shove by Hadar Goren for only a handful of big blinds and was ahead with A♠Q♠ versus A♣J♠.
Ghoorbin had previously said "I am not your friend" to Eben Lottering, but that was only a joke. In jest, Lottering rooted against Ghoorbin throughout the 10♥4♠3♣2♣2♦ runout but Goren came up short to bust.
Nic Ioannoy continued to chip up and reign supreme on his table. The latest showdown pot on a king-high board saw him get paid off for 20,000 on the river and his K♠10♠ for the top pair was good against Kinesh Pather.
Nic Rowley was eliminated on the live stream table and Dawie Cronje was moved over there, albeit with fewer chips than he had just a few minutes ago.
The reason? Cronje doubled Jamie Vilela before his new seat assignment when he raised 6♣6♠ from under the gun and called Vilela's shove for 60,000 with the latter showing J♥J♠. The Q♣3♥2♦7♣8♥ board was no threat for the superior pocket pair.
On a flop of K♣Q♠3♠ on the live stream table, Jedd Kossew bet 17,000 from under the gun and then called the shove by Nic Rowley for 111,000 total.
Kossew had the best of it with A♣K♦ versus A♦Q♥ and there was no upset on the 5♣ turn or 8♦ river.
