"MrTermo1021" Gets Them Right Back

Aleksejs "APonakov" Ponakovs opened to 1,540,000 on the button and both opponents stuck around out of the blinds.

On the {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, "nic81411" check-called a bet worth 1,680,000 by "MrTermo1021". They check-called another 4,900,000 on the {3-Hearts} turn and the {q-Diamonds} river was checked. "nic81411" tabled {a-Spades}{7-Hearts} for a busted gutshot and "MrTermo1021" won the pot with {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for sixes and treys.

The remaining hands of the level were essentially traded back and forth with Ponakovs under pressure as the shortest stack.

"MrTermo1021" Chips Up; "nic81411" Takes the Profit

"MrTermo1021" won a pot off chip leader "nic81411" when {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} prevailed on a board of {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{9-Spades}. His opponent had missed a double draw with {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} to drop some precious chips.

Aleksejs "APonakov" Ponakovs raised to 1,540,000 and "MrTermo1021" came along from the big blind. The {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop was check-raised by "MrTermo1021" and Ponakovs called the 2,800,000. On the {2-Diamonds} turn, "MrTermo1021" bet 3,066,525 and Ponakovs folded.

Two hands later, "nic81411" three-bet to 4,800,000 out of the big blind to receive a call from button raiser "MrTermo1021". Following a flop of {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, "nic81411" check-called for 3,370,125 and the {4-Hearts} turn went check, check. "nic81411" bet the [Wd] river for 2,800,000 and earned the pot.

Ponakovs Chips Up in Small Pots

Throughout a series of smaller pots, albeit with a few setbacks, Aleksejs "APonakov" Ponakovs was able to get back some chips.

The latest example hand saw him raise to 2,274,543 in the small blind and "nic81411" defended the big blind. They checked all the way to the {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades} river on which Ponakovs bet 1,887,823 and won the pot uncontested.

"nic81411" called both times and won the pot with {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, as Ponakovs only played the board with his {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

Before the blinds went up, "nic81411" min-raised and Aleksejs "APonakov" Ponakovs three-bet to 4,800,000. The four-bet to 15,000 followed and Ponakovs got out of the way.

Two hands later at new blinds, "nic81411" raised to 2.5 million in the small blind and "MrTermo1021" defended the big blind. They checked the {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop once more and "nic81411" bet the {7-Clubs} turn for 1.8 million, which resulted in a call. On the {8-Hearts} river, another bet worth 5.5 million followed and "MrTermo1021" opted to fold.

Two hands later, "lildani9" min-raised to 1,200,000 and "nic81411" called on the button. "MrTermo1021" raised to 5,520,000 out of the small blind and snap-called all-in when "lildani9" jammed and "nic81411" folded.
