Just a few minutes into play, the first player hit the rail. Rodrigo "Seijistar" Seiji opened early to 140k in one of the first hands of the day, and Felipe "lipe piv" Boianovsky defended their big blind. They check-called the flop of 9K10 for 115.5k and both players checked the 5 turn.

Boianovsky shoved more than 5 million on the 2 river to put Seiji at risk and Seiji called it off with ace-high, losing to king-deuce. Meanwhile, two other players are also out to bring the game to 37 as Level 27 begins.

There are 40 players left in SCOOP 108-H: Main Event High for the start of Day 3 today, and everyone remaining is now guaranteed at least $29,432 for 40th - 32nd place with the first Day 3 pay jump happening at 31st when they hit $37,590.

There are two Canadians heading the chip counts to start Day 3. The leader in the game is the anonymous "AnyExtras" with more than 10.3 million chips for a huge lead. Number two is a lot less anonymous - two-time EPT winner Mike "SirWatts" Watson has just over 8 million to start Day 3.

Watson is having a great few weeks on the felt. He became the third two-time EPT Main winner in history at the beginning of May when he bagged the Main Event trophy in Monte Carlo.

There are six players coming into Day 3 with more than 6 million chips, and the entire top ten has more than 5 million each. Canada has three players in the top ten to start the day, while Austria ostensibly has two. It's worth noting however that both "Austria" and "Canada" can be code for other nationalities as many Germans play from Austria while many Americans play from Canada.

That put $5.87m into the prize pool to be shared between the top 71 players. The money started getting awarded late on Day 2 as Day 3 was scheduled to start with 40 players.
