Arguably the biggest Monday in online poker history sees a full slate of Day 2s from the largest events on the internet get underway at 1:05 p.m. ET/7:05 p.m. CET. One such event on that list is Event #73-H: $2,100 NLHE [Sunday Warm-Up SE], where 37 players will look to play down to a winner, with that person set to earn a payday of $177,965.

Sunday’s Day 1 concluded after nine hours of play, and 501 entries generated a seven-figure prize pool of $1,002,000 to obliterate its $750,000 guaranteed prize pool by more than 33%. Those nine hours of play took the tournament into the 24th level of play and well into the money after 62 places got paid.

Leading the final 37 into Day 2 is zivziv (3.68 million), with ”boerni21” (3.19 million), Stefan “baeks22” Schillhabel (2.93 million), Mustapha “lasagnaaammm” Kanit (2.25 million), and Pavel “silentm0de” Plesuv (2.11) million rounding out the top five as the only five players in the tournament with stacks greater than 2 million.

However, the entire field is full of with forces to be reckoned with. Fedor “CrownUpGuy” Holz (1.82 million) also enters the day with a top-10 stack, and players like Christian “eisenhower1” Jeppsson” (1.63 million) and Alex “dynoalot” Difelice (1.59 million) also have above-average stacks.

Viktor “papan9_p$” Ustimov (193,441), Julian “nailuj90” Stuer (179,960), and Ivan “Negriin” Luca (155,983) find themselves at the bottom of the counts, squeaking into Day 2 with what will be less than six big blinds when play resumes in Level 24 with blinds at 17,500/35,000 and an ante of 4,500. Though everybody left in the tournament has a full day’s worth of work ahead of them, these three have even more work cut out for them if they are to find their way to glory.

Levels will remain 20 minutes in length until the completion of Level 36. At that time, they will increase to a half-hour each. All returning players have guaranteed a payday of at least $5,910, and anybody making the final table will earn a minimum of $17,185. Play will continue until a winner has been declared and the first-place prize of $177,965 has been claimed.

PokerNews will be providing coverage of the tournament all the way to the end. Be sure to hang around.
