Richard Turns a Boat to Double Up
A player from early position raised to 1,500, which was called by Luke Richard in the cutoff, and the player in the small blind.
The flop came 10♥K♥K♦ and it checked the early position player, who bet out 2,000. Richard called, and the small blind folded.
After the Q♥ on the turn, the early position player check-called a bet of 3,500 from Richard.
The river brought the 8♦ and after the early position player checked, Richard bet all in for his stack of 22,700. While debating his decision, Richard's opponent said "Do you ever not have king-queen here?" before tossing in a chip to make the call.
His instincts were right, as Richard tabled K♠Q♣ for a full house kings full of queens to secure the double up, as his opponent tossed A♥9♥ in the muck.
