Tran Doubles Through Thomas
Nível 16
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Siphonh Tran opened from early position and was called by Joshua Thomas in the cutoff and Ryan Ramsdell in the big blind.
On the 8♣6♣3♠ flop, Ramsdell checked to Tran who jammed for 132,000. Thomas put in the call while Ramsdell painfully folded.
Siphonh Tran: 10♠10♣
Joshua Thomas: Q♥8♥
Tran had an overpair against the top pair of Thomas and held on the 2♦A♣ runout as the Day 1c chip leader found a much needed double.
The tournament has been reduced to its final four tables with 35 players remaining.
