Brazil's Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski earned his sixth World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) title on Saturday by taking down the WCOOP-80-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO, High Roller], $750K Gtd for a prize of $107,949, plus another $157,969 in bounties for a total score of $265,918.

Dzivielevski, who also took down this year's WCOOP 13-H: $1,050 FLO8 for $23,897, secured Brazil's latest WCOOP victory by winning a heads-up battle between poker streamer and PokerStars ambassador Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis, who earned a total score of $172,793 for his second place finish.

The high roller PKO tournament attracted 106 runners and smashed its guarantee with a total prize pool of $1.1 million. Well-known grinders in the field included Wiktor "Iimitless" Malinowski and Bruno "great dant" Volkman, as well as PokerStars Team Online members Fintan "EasyWithAces" Hand, Ben "Spraggy" Spragg and Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle.

Day 1 broke after over eight hours of play with only nine players remaining. "ludako123" of Bulgaria was sent home on the final table bubble after their ace-ten couldn't get there against an opponent's pocket sevens.

Final Table

Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder was the first to go at the final table after running his ace-nine into the queens of Veldhuis, who entered the table as the short stack. It wasn't long before Veldhuis knocked out Andras "probirs" Nemeth in eighth place when both players rivered flushes but Veldhuis had the better of it.

"DrawindDead" had a great run as they doubled their stack multiple times before ultimately busting in fifth place for $54,936 when their big slick couldn't fare against Veldhuis' ten-eight. The final table action proved to be all Veldhuis as he knocked out Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph in third place for $83,866 when Veldhuis' nines held against the opponent's ace-deuce.

Heads-Up

Dzivielevski began heads-up play with the chip advantage after having won a sizable pot against Rudolph with a full house and knocking out Thomas "MarToMchat" Boivin with two-pair. Veldhuis quickly leveled things out by taking down a few medium-sized pots.

Heads-up action lasted just 18 hands as the two players got into a pre-flop raising war that climaxed when Dzivielevski five-bet shoved with ace-king and Veldhuis called off with ace-queen.
