Nível 2 : 600/1,200, 150 ante
Steven van Zadelhoff
Steven van Zadelhoff

For more than a decade, Steven "SvZff" van Zadelhoff has been a force to be reckoned with at the poker tables.

Originally from Holland, the Dutchman has been residing in Malta when not on the road or setting up shop for several months in his beloved Las Vegas during the World Series of Poker. Elected into the Dutch Poker Hall of Fame in 2017, Van Zadelhoff sports nearly $2.5 million in lifetime cashes according to The Hendon Mob including six-figure cashes in Malta, Spain, and the United States.

While those results are impressive on its own, Van Zadelhoff is predominantly known as an online powerhouse. Under his "SvZff" moniker, he has racked up nearly $7 million in lifetime cashes on PokerStars alone according to PocketFives. He's currently ranked in 35th place in the world and once held the top spot in the rankings back in 2017.

Spragg Joins the Mix

Nível 2 : 600/1,200, 150 ante

A third PokerStars ambassador has joined the mix in Ben "Spraggy" Spragg and he faces the likes of Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder, Preben "prebz" Stokkan, Marc-Andre "FrenchDawg" Ladouceur, and Jorge "jorginho88" Abreu at his starting table.

Stropoli Busts Dzivielevski

Nível 1 : 500/1,000, 125 ante
Dzivielevski vs Stropoli
Dzivielevski vs Stropoli

Julien "Stroposoz" Achard-Stropoli opened to 2,200 on the button and the small blind called, Yuri "thenerdguy" Dzivielevski three-bet to 13,600 in the big blind and Achard-Stropoli then four-bet to 36,000. Only Dzivielevski called to see the {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop on which he check-called a bet of 24,775.

He then check-called 41,126 on the {2-Spades} turn and check-called all-in after the {4-Spades} river for 132,388 when Achard-Stropoli jammed. The Brazilian tabled {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} but Achard-Stropoli had the best of it with {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

Also featured on the table is 2014 champion Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz.

Lipp Chips Up Without Showdown

Nível 1 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Matthias "MLS20" Lipp clashed with "topchicataa" when he called a min-raise to 2,000 and "Flying Smile" in the big blind also came along. A bet of 3,000 by "topchicataa" was only called by Lipp on the {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop and the {8-Spades} turn brought a bet of 5,000, which Lipp raised to 20,000 and was called.

The {a-Diamonds} appeared on the river and "topchicataa" bet-folded for 35,000 when Lipp raised to 105,000.

Three Casualties so Far

Nível 1 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

With just over half of the first level completed, the field has grown to 724 entries of which 721 players remain. Among the trio that busted was also known Brazilian Rodrigo "seijistar" Seiji who will likely re-enter soon again.

Watson Takes a Small Hit

Nível 1 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson started well and took a bigger pot off "MarinkaHT" to make a decent profit in the first level of the day.

Several big names are on the same table and among them, Mike "SirWatts" Watson just lost a pot to drop below the starting stack. Watson defended the big blind and check-called two barrels by "GreenBoo" on the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} board as both checked the river. Watson turned over {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} which was no good against {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

Two PokerStars Ambassadors In Action so Far

Nível 1 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Fintan "easywithaces" Hand has started well and made a small profit already on a table that also includes 2020 WCOOP three-time champion Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski while Felix "xflixx" Schneiders has just joined the fray.

The Defending Champion Takes a Hit

Nível 1 : 500/1,000, 125 ante

Norway's "fredbulll" raised to 3,000 and called a three-bet to 9,000 by Fraser "BigBlindBets" Russell from one seat over in the cutoff. On a flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, "fredbulll" bet 6,000, Russell raised to 16,725 and called a reraise to 33,000.

The {a-Spades} turn brought a bet of 10,000 by "fredbulll" and a call by Russell and the same action repeated for 15,000 on the {6-Spades} river. "fredbulll" tabled {q-Clubs}{8-Spades} for queens and eights, which won the pot.
