Mokri Flips to Chip Lead

Nível 21 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 3,750 ante
Kayhan Mokri
Kayhan Mokri

The action folded to Kayhan "KayhanMok" Mokri on the button, who raised to 63,300 chips. "brunojardas1" was in the big blind and promptly jammed his seven-figure stack of 1,007,098 in the middle, receiving a snap call from Mokri.

"brunojardas1": 22
Kayhan "KayhanMok" Mokri: AK

Mokri paired his ace on the A8Q97 runout and beat the pair of deuces of his opponent. Mokri seized the first place on the leaderboard while "brunojardas1" failed to make the top 100 of the WCOOP Main Event.

"Renatbog97" Triples Up

Nível 20 : Blinds 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

"Renatbog97" played less than 20 big blinds when they raised to 50,000 from early position. Pavel "silentm0de" Plesuv sat in the small blind and three-bet shoved, covering "Renatbog97" as well as "I Attack95" in the big blind, who played 20 big blinds as well.

"I Attack95" then called and "Renatbog97" quickly followed suit for a rare three-way all-in.

"Renatbog97": KK
"I Attack95": 99
Pavel "silentm0de" Plesuv: AJ

"Renatbog97" flopped a set on 10KJ, and the 4 on the turn was no threat for them either. The A river did not change anything and "Renatbog97" won the lion's share of the pot, tripling them up, while Plesuv raked in the almost insignificant side pot.

Schemion Wheeled Out of the Main Event

Nível 20 : Blinds 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante
Schemion Wheeled Out of the Main Event
Schemion Wheeled Out of the Main Event

"Eleres88" made a raise to 50,000 from under the gun and Ole "wizowizo" Schemion three-bet all-in for 249,162 from middle position. The action folded back to "Eleres88", who made the call.

Ole "wizowizo" Schemion: 1010
"Eleres88": A10

All seemed well for Schemion on the 3427 board, but the 5 river made "Eleres88" the lowest possible straight, beating out the pair of Schemion, eliminating the German in brutal fashion.

"DingeBrinker" Doubles Up

Nível 20 : Blinds 12,500/25,000, 3,250 ante

"DingeBrinker" raised to 50,000 from middle position and "normannolly" three-bet all-in from the small blind, barely covering "DingeBrinker"s stack of 667,800. "DingeBrinker" made a swift call and the cards went on their virtual backs.

"DingeBrinker": AK
"normannolly: AQ

Neither player improved on the 941038 runout, meaning that "DingeBrinker"s ace-king-high would secure them the pot, leaving their opponent with just over two big blinds.

Adams On the Short End of Big Flip

Nível 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

"Eleres88" open-raised to 40,000 chips from under the gun before Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams made it 123,000 to go from the hijack. The rest of the table folded, but "Eleres88" four-bet jammed, covering Adams' stack of roughly 850,000 chips. Adams wasted no time in calling and the pair showed down.

Timothy "Tim0thee" Adams: AK
"Eleres88": QQ

Adams paired his ace on the AJ10 flop, but the detrimental K turn gave "Eleres88" a straight. No chop or full house arrived for Adams on the 10 river and he was sent home while his opponent gathered a big stack.

Proudfoot Eliminates MacDonald, Nears Three Million

Nível 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Jonathan "Proudflop" Proudfoot made the minimum raise to 40,000 from early position and the action folded to Tom "7tHEcROw7" MacDonald in the big blind, who defended. The flop then fell 10106 and Proudfoot made a continuation-bet of 24,200 after a check from MacDonald.

The latter then responded with a raise to 80,000 chips and Proudflop called. On the K turn, MacDonald fired another 130,000 into the pot and once again Proudfoot called.

MacDonald then shipped all in for 338,536 on the 7 river and Proudfoot responded with a snap call. MacDonald showed A10 for the ace-high flush, but Proudfoot had the best of it with his K10 for a turned full house.

MacDonald entered Day 2 as second in chips, but had to leave before the money is in sight. Meanwhile, Proudfoot plays almost three million chips and has a comfortable spot on the leaderboard.
