On a 3♦8♦J♣ flop, Pardo checked to Shakerchi, who bet out for 21,600. Pardo called and the pair saw a 9♠ turn, on which Pardo led out for a small amount of 19,644 chips. Shakerchi looked him up before the subsequent K♠ river was checked down by both players.
Pardo showed Q♥Q♦ and his two red queens were enough to win the large pot as Shakerchi mucked his cards.
