Life Outside Poker is a podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
In the 25th episode, Connor speaks with embattled poker pro Brad Booth about learning poker from his grandfather, climbing up stakes in Canada, living at the Bellagio and playing in Bobby's Room, bluffing Phil Ivey and getting cheated on Ultimate Bet.
Booth, who the poker community hasn't heard from for several years, opened up about his absence and going missing in 2020, as well as his gambling addiction and various poker debts to players like Doug Polk that he says he plans to make right.
"I got caught up in all of it and all I can try and do is make right now," he told PokerNews of his poker debts.

Micky Blasi put in 500 chips under the gun, which Esteban Ismailov three-bet to 1,700 from the cutoff. Vincenzo Favale tossed in a call from the small blind, after which Blasi also came along to the J♥10♥J♠ flop.
The three players checked around to the 2♣ turn, where Favale tossed in a quick bet of 3,200. Blasi let go of his cards, but Ismailov stuck around and called.
Both players knuckled the table on the 7♠ river. Favale tabled 10♦9♦ for jacks and tens, taking down the pot when Ismailov added his cards to the muck.

Danilo Colomba raised to 500 and was three-bet to 1,800 by Tal Nahum. Georgios Vrakas then made it 4,300, folding out Colomba.
Nahum quickly put in his stack of 10,000, which Vrakas snap-called.

Angelo Fiorentino squeezed a three-bet to 2,300 into four players from the big blind. Button Luca Pitruzzella was the only caller, and the pair headed to a flop of 4♠2♥2♦.
Fiorentino continued for 2,200, which Pitruzzella quickly called. Pitruzzella had a more difficult decision on the 8♥ turn, taking a minute or so before calling Fiorentino's bet of 5,000.
The 5♦ river was checked to showdown. Fiorentino tabled A♦Q♣ for ace-high. Pitruzzella won the pot with his 9♥9♦ as he neared two starting stacks in chips.

Lorenzo Dantimi raised to 700 in the hijack, receiving a call from Thomas Clack on the button. Uri Reichenstein then three-bet to 3,300 from the small blind, seeing both opponents put in a call.
The 10♣8♣6♠ flop checked to Clack, who bet 2,500. Reichenstein quickly vacated the pot before Dantimi tossed in a call. The 7♦ turn was checked to the 2♦ river, where Dantimi fired a bet of 7,200.
Clack swiftly flicked in a calling chip. Dantimi tabled Q♥Q♦ for an overpair, but it was no good against the 10♥10♦ of Clack, who raked in the pot with his set.

After several raises, small blind Federico Giai had gone all in for 23,100 on a turn of 2♥K♦5♥9♠, which covered the stack of Pier Fabretti in the big blind. Fabretti made a quick call for his tournament life, and the cards went face-up.

Giai had a big lead with his set. The 2♠ river upgraded him to four of a kind, sending his neighbour out during the first level of the day.
