Pierre Neuville busted a tournament for the second time today. After busting the King's High Roller in the early stages, Neuville walked out empty-handed of the Main Event as well.
According to one of our colleagues, Neuville held top two pair but ran into bottom set for an early demise.
Alessandro Siena was the first to raise preflop. Josef Gulás three-bet to 2,500 on the button and Georges Yazbeck cold-called from the small blind. Siena four-bet to 8100, Gulás folded and Yazbeck called.
Both players checked the flop. Yazbeck bet 6,500 on the turn and Siena folded.
With the board reading , there was already a sizable pot brewing between Anna Yamshchikova and Michal Snasel. Action was on Snasal, who bet 10,200. Yamshchikova called, but couldn't defeat Snasel's .
The Russian, who resides in the Czech Republic, slipped to 35,000.
It wouldn't be a true festival if there were only a Main Event and High Roller on the schedule. Here at King's Casino in Rozvadov there's plenty for players to enjoy; even those with smaller bankrolls.
The €1,100 PokerStars Festival Main Event is shaping up to become a huge success, as there are already 174 entries on Day 1a. To compare: the inaugural and record-breaking festival in London had 169 entrants on Day 1a and ended with a total of 944 players.
Players are still able to late register for Day 1a until the end of level 6.
