In two hours from now at 5 p.m. local time, Day 2 of the 2017 PokerStars Festival Rozvadov €5,300 King's High Roller will get underway. The priciest event of the festival at the King's Casino attracted a field of 33 entries thus far, including 28 unique players and five reentries, and that number is expected to grow still.

The registration at the casino near the border to Germany, also known as "RozVegas" and host of the upcoming World Series of Poker Europe later this year, remains open until the first card is dealt in level 12 at blinds of 1,000-2,000 with a running ante of 300. All new entries will receive 50,000 in chips, good enough for 25 big blinds, and among those expected to join the action again are [Removed:197] and Steven Thompson.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy bagged up the most chips of the 15 survivors with 203,300, followed by 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event runner up Martin Staszko (187,300) and Aviv Meiri (173,200). One of the most vocal and active players was Martin Kabrhel, who had to fire two bullets and experienced a roller coaster day, eventually claiming 148,300 for Day 2. Tomas Soderstrom follows less than an ante behind with 148,200 while other notables include Marcin Chmielewski (137,500), Eugene Katchalov (111,000), Andreas Samuelsson (92,000), Pierre Neuville (50,400) and PokerStars Team Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (21,500).

The tournament is scheduled to play down to a winner today, and the PokerNews live reporting team will be there to cover all the action. Day 1a of the €1,100 Main Event also gets underway at 4 p.m. local time and you can follow the updates here.
