Keisuke Hikosaka and Mladen Ivanov limped in and Carl Gustav Jacob Ohlund raised to 4,500 on the button, both opponents called. On the 
flop the action checked to Ohlund and he continued for 3,500. Hikosaka check-raised all in and Ivanov asked for a count before calling the shove worth 18,300. Ohlund let go within a few moments and the cards were turned over.

In the case of Ludovic Geilich and Alexandru Frunze, it was a three-way all in and Liv Boeree emerged victorious. Frunze was all in for 33,700 with the 
, Geilich had 18,000 left and and Boeree looked them up with 
holding the biggest stack of the trio.

And then, Carl Gustav Jacob Ohlund sent Morten Klein to the rail. On the 
river, Klein bet and then called the shove of his opponent with around 25,000 left. Ohlund had 27,400 and turned over for the nut straight, Klein only for two pair.
Lucas Blanco and Remi Castaignon also ran out of chips as well to reduce the field further.

Tiago Freitas, one of the later entrants, has been having a bit of a battle with Chris Moorman who has been in the same seat since the start of the tournament.
In a recent hand Freitas opened for 2,500 and Moorman three-bet from the button to 6,400. Freitas called and they saw a flop of 
. No action there but on the turn card Freitas bet and took the pot.
A few hands later an open from Freitas saw Moorman three-bet once again, but this time Freitas folded.
Moorman has position but it is Freitas who has the stack at a time when the average is 55,312.

Simon Ravnsbaek raised from the button and Robert Heidorn defended the big blind. The flop went check, check, and Heidorn bet the 
turn for 3,700. Ravnsbaek called and did so again reluctantly for 9,500 on the river. Heidorn rolled over 
for top pair and scooped the pot.
Soon after, the German won an even bigger pot when holding pocket kings and check-shoved a ten-high flop. Adrian Mateos had pocket jacks and found no help on a blank turn and river.
Heidorn didn't slow down after that either and won another two pots to essentially double his stack.
