Sergey Isupov Makes Small Withdrawal

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Jason Wheeler opened to 3,400 and action was on Sergey Isupov.

Isupov has been exploiting his position against Wheeler who had earlier warned him against three-betting him too often.

This time Isupov opted to call and the remaining players folded.

The flop was {4-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Wheeler check-called a bet of 4,000 from his troublesome foe.

The turn card was the {7-Spades} and they both checked to see the {5-Spades} complete the board.

Wheeler checked for a last time and Isupov took a while before betting 8,500. Wheeler shot him a look and called.

Isupov showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and top pair took the pot.

Yadamjav and Kuliev Eliminated

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Tsogtjargal Yadamjav faced a raise to 4,600 by Roman Kundasov and shoved for less than 9,000 with the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Kundasov called with {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and the board ran out {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{K-Spades}.

Soon after, Rustam Kuliev first got a lucky chop with {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} versus {K-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} as the board provided a straight from ace to five. Then he shoved for 25,100 with {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Chris Moneymaker called with {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}. The board came {10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and that was it for Kuliev.

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Oleg Sklyanov
Oleg Sklyanov

[Removed:19] opened to 3,500 from middle position. Both Jonas Lauck and Oleg Sklyanov called in middle position before Bertrand Grospellier three-bet to 14,000 from the button. Sokolovskiy folded but the other two players both called.

The flop was {2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Lauck checked to Sokolovskiy who moved all in for 33,600. Grospellier quickly called and Lauck got out of the way.

Sokolovskiy took one look at the {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} of his opponent and slammed his {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} down on the table in disgust.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and the river the {3-Spades} giving ElkY a full house and eliminating his opponent.

"Unlucky," said the Frenchman, "I'm on an insane run today."

"He called the Isle of Man this morning and asked them to push the 'God Mode' button," remarked a tablemate.

Panyak River Bet Tortures Maksim Pisarenko

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Maxim Panyak was in the big blind and bet 6,600 on the turn of a board reading {5-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

His opponent in the pot, Maksim Pisarenko, called.

The river was the {10-Spades} and Panyak bet again, but this time he just bet 3,300.

Pisarenko looked a bit stunned at first and over the next minute or so he became increasingly tortured as to whether or not he should call. It was a tiny bet compared to the pot and was not a hugely significant pot in relation to his stack, nevertheless it seemed that Panyak had got in his head and was spinning it round.

They chatted back and forth in Russian for a while and at last Pisarenko called the bet.

Panyak tabled {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Pisarenko checked the board to make sure he wasn’t missing something before showing the winning {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.
